Freddy not dressed tonight. Obviously because of injury.

I still have faith in a healthy Freddy Andersen. He has carried this team for years. .922 in 7 games vs the Bruins in the playoffs. .936 vs Columbus.

Get better soon Freddy.

i dont mind regular season freddy, but playoff freddy is garbage, untimely soft goals has led to this teams first round losses every year he has been here .... what is the untimely soft goal game on the line stat called?

Every fanbase says the same things about their goaltending. Its shithousw luck and not being dialed in as a team combined. Yes freddy needs to be better... but its not all on him.

ahhh ok, but when your goalie lets in the first shot on against.. that is pretty f***in deflating to the team and their confidence in him. Pretty sure Campbell is going to start against the Hens... just common sense to go with your hot goalie.

i miss hearing Bowen

THANKS Jack Campbell! Was having a sour day but seeing him STEAL the game and getting another SO cheered me up! I’m happy for him the Leafs and everyone here

My thoughts exactly. He made games so exciting to listen too, his intensity, words, commentary we're second to none! I am actually shocked he is not back on tv. I would listen to him on the radio, but I watch the games on the internet and there is a delay and it just doesn't work.. I miss his voice!

And about Campbell... hell yeah man! He is awesome!

Jacks vibe it's a better fit with this team.
no more Andersen
i'm so happy for the team

if Jack is not our starter from this point: we DO NOT deserve the playoffs

There is not a snowball’s chance in hell that Keefe doesn’t start Campbell against the Sens. However, I do believe he thinks Andersen is still the starter on this team. First poor game by Campbell and Andy is back in. I hope Campbell continues his great play and earns Keefe’s trust despite a poor game. Freddy has to move on, he’ll always allow that deflating goal in a key game.

I don't get people who hate on any of our players and it's kind of sad that some people can't just enjoy the win tonight without taking more shots at Andersen. The guy didn't play tonight, give it a rest FFS.
I really believe they are veiled shots at posters who had differing opinions. Usually there are few "Where are they now", posts as well

It's time for Jack to take over the starting position and see how he does. His drive, positioning and overall plays much more desirable than Freddy's. It has been pointed out that the Leafs have 3 shutouts this season. Not one of them are from Freddy.

the pressure of being the number 1 goalie is heavy on this team, with its potential, media, fan base ... Campbell is a big risk for dubas
Campbell seems to have the personality where pressure wouldn't bother him. He seems happy all the time as opposed to the serious nature Fred displays. Of the two personality types I think the serious guy would crack under pressure.

It was pretty telling that a couple times whenever (mainly Tkachuk) was around our net, someone was all over him. Morgan Rielly was ready to tear his head off for a late poke at Campbell.

The way the team acts post game with Campbell, and how they speak of him.

It’s nice to see

Good opportunity to get on a roll here. We're off until Thursday/Saturday and we'll be playing tired teams.

Thursday vs Sens:
2nd of back to back and 3rd of 3 in 4 for them.

Saturday vs Oilers:
2nd of back to back and 3rd of 3 in 4 for them.

At this point you go with whomever stops the puck, if Campbell is emerging into a legit 1 then Keefe rides him. There is no loyalty or pedigree now, let’s see how the coach deals with it.

This year’s group is too good to waste.
