I went to the new Mets stadium when I was in NYC, it was impressive. Skydome is a terrible venue (have gone to a ton of games there). Fenway isn't great in the modern sense, but it's awesome to go once and experience it. Wrigley is on my list for the same reasons. My favorite MLB stadium I've been to is actually Progressive in Cleveland.
I've been lucky with Skydome 90% of the games i've gone to have had the roof open. Only been to one game with the dome closed and I thought it was boring with the dome closed but with it open and the tower overlooking everything its pretty good.

Was at Chase Field in Phoenix, great stadium but really small concourses, not wide enough. and because it was also Opening Day the place was packed.

All I know is Dubas gonna Dubas

Hopefully he won’t be a Dumbas

goalie humour

Dubas doesn't have control over whether Keefe plays Campbell over Andersen unless he moves Andersen, which does not seem to be happening at this point. Andersen also has a say with his NTC.

Nice stats, too bad Keefe will probably go back to Andersen next game, I hope im wrong.

I don't think Keefe could afford to mess around from here on...play Campbell until he loses the job...if Freddie was in net tonight, Leafs probably lose the game...errr...like last night.

I've seen the Dome in all situations, just not a good venue in my eyes, it has no soul. Haven't been to Chase but that sounds like a cool experience. I'm a bigger NFL and NHL fan, but a bucket list item for me is to go to every MLB stadium. As a Torontonian and a Jays fan, I really want a retro style stadium on the lake.

Doubt it. From the recent play of Andersen + The blaming of the team vs keefes thoughts on Andersen’s play last game, we could see Campbell in for 2-4 games straight
It should be, Leafs has 4 days break though, it is hard to tell. Maybe the coach will give him a start on Thursday.

I met a Giants Dad and son and they had done just about every stadium but Tampa and maybe Atlanta. that would be fun to do. I have yet to go to an NFL game and as a Packers fan, gotta get to Lambeau before Rodgers goes into a studio or booth.

didnt the Jays use to play at exhibition stadium in the 70s?

i think it’s the memories made in the building that tip the skydome in my favour. If we are simply talking aesthetics - then yeah Fenway, Camden, and Wrigley and other stadiums with grass fields lol are better

Die hard Browns fan due to my dad (Toronto used to only get Browns games in the Jim Brown era). Been there and Buffalo a few times. Lambeau sounds like an awsome experience.

You gotta wonder if the leafs LTIR Andersen and use that 5 mill in cap space for the deadline. Get a 1b goalie and send Andersen to Robidas Island

and you can bring Andersen back during the playoffs as a backup

Speaking of, is Robidas still stranded on the island like Gilligan?

Ok enough of the “Campbell can’t be the starter because he’s never started” he is the better goalie now. What is the worst thing that will happen if we start him? Can’t lose any more than we are with Fred...

the worst thing is Campbell soup serves another shutout. I am talking from the perspective of the Edmonton Oilers.

he made a save off a deflection gave us a two pad stack save where there was wide open net. There were some bad giveaways that led to breakaways and Jack bailed us out. So 2-3 goals stolen. Freddie in net, this game is lost 2-4. Anyone else it would have been 2-2 and gone to overtime. I stand by my post. Campbell STOLE those two points in a game where Matthews was not his usual self.
sorry but i dont see 3 goals stolen at all, gaudreau didnt even hit the net on one of the two real bad turnovers we had all game. he played well..no way shape or form did he steal the game though.
