Teräväinen can really shoot the puck wow. Ties the game at 3-3 with 2:14 left.

Thoughts on underager Rasmus Dahlin? I didn't watch the game, and I haven't seen him play.

Then you should. Unbelievable talent, getting mostly defensive assignments on this team but he's just so great at everything.

I don't think that 3vs3 overtime is such a good idea for players this young. Complete mess. USA wins 4-3 when Finland forgots Poehling all alone in the offensive zone

That first Swiss line looks rather interesting on paper:
Kurashev Hischier Simic
Geisser Le Coultre

I agree... Unfortunately the rest of the team minus Eggenberger and Gross (underager) looks rather dull.
The results have been quite bad last year, beaten by SVK and GER on a regular base, humiliated by the big nations like 25 years ago.

Could be a tough tournament for the Swiss this year.

Do you know if there is an archive with the games?
I did miss USA vs FINLAND and I would really like to watch it.

Didn't he play on the PP? IMO only Liljegren outmatches him there by the defenders

Only saw him on the PK.

Even bigger win as Canada lost a point against the Slovaks. 3 pts against Slovakia is what it takes now for Sweden to reach the semifinal.

That's not really a fantastic start for Canada - losing the pre-tournament game to Czech and then needing OT to beat Slovakia.

Czechs have a pretty good team...a fair bit of talent. Zadina is really talented..he'll be a high pick next year...they have a 6-7 center eligible for next year who's pretty good too...Kondelik, and Kaut as well. Necas looks like a really decent prospect for this draft..Svoboda and Safin aren't bad either...and some of the dmen look like drafts. I was impressed today...dominated the Swiss.

Fortunately I mentioned "on paper ". What a lesson for the Swiss. Impressive Czechs.

Zadina was very impressive. Great hands, very hard to knock off the puck. Same goes for Necas, guy was trying to deke whenever he had the chance to. Other players that stood out for me were Machala, Kondelik and Kvasnicka.

Great effort, though I have to admit that quick Swiss goal made me nervous for a while.

Does anyone know a site where you can see highlights of the games? I'd like to see the highlights of the Canada vs Slovakia game. I looked on the tsn webpage nothing, I looked on hockey canadas webpage and nothing. I also tried youtube and there was nothing.

Not highlight packages, but if you scroll through the Hlinka hashtag on twitter, there are some clips of individual plays: https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=#hlinkamemorial&src=typd

Veleno player of the game for the first game. From the highlights he seemed to have a good day.

Hoping Canada starts to gel a bit better going forward.

5-1 Sweden. Liljegren strips a slovak player of the puck and sends Kalle Miketinac on a breakaway and he makes no mistake putting the puck through the five-hole. Sweet play by Liljegren.

Patrick Hrehorcak makes it 5-2 with a hard shot from near the half-wall. Söderblom could probably have played that better.

6-2 now.
