I really don't think there are huge offers out there for him. People need to understand organizations don't generally like employees airing their dirty laundry in public. The cost of the assets coupled with his desire for a long term contract are certainly a concern for them. It's possible he would already have been moved if he had simply gone quietly about his business.

I think Matthew Tkachuk's success may make teams look at him. PLD won't be the main piece like Tkachuk. But he won't cost as much as Florida paid.

I think we don't want to offer Dach or up. And other teams may be willing to offer a player with better potential than we have in our tier below Dach. For example isn't Vilardi in LA more coveted than Owen Beck?

Dvorak and Anderson won't cut it.

So far he hanged out with some of Brisson's clients during the Grand Prix which included Caufield, as well as Savard one of his Columbus era buddy (they played 3 seasons together). I think there was a pic with Anderson too, another Columbus era acquaintance.

Still, it does make it looks like he really wants to come to Montréal, which raise the cost for any other destinations...
