Two words: Playoff Risto
He was extended for five years last offseason with an NMC. Not available is the short answer.Whats Middletons price tag?
Hawks wise
Jones if he waives, Martinez, Murphy and for the love of god Brodie please
really, really, high. He's playing the best hockey of his career. He's not available, really, at least until Buium makes him expendable, and even then, neither Brodin or Buium have a fraction of his toughness and physicality.Whats Middletons price tag?
Not cheap nor good defensively. He’s been one of the least effective d in the league this year …just terrible . Habs will get something due to name / reputation and handedness but it would probably be more like a 3 rd or middling prospect imo . Ultra crispyMontreal has Savard? Cheap contract, great shot blocker, good defensively. Looking for a first.

I did not . Let’s see the receipts . That was a truly horrific trade but I honestly don’t recall having a strong opinion one way or another prior to the deal . I think everyone was surprised by the return and the prices for that type of player have been significantly lower in recent years ( Tanev and Schenn for instance ; Tanev being way better with the cost being a 2 nd ) . Maybe gms have learned. Do you disagree that he’s bad defensively at this point ?You said same about Chiarot
Habs would receive a lotMatheson at 2.438mil for this year and next.
A reminder to be careful what you wish for. Please someone get Barry Trotz to trade Fabbro so he can actually play, and for the love of god take Lauzon. I don't know who we get to fill in but frankly I don't care.
Key word there was trade, not throw him away for nothing like you don't even know what the NHL is. I mean at least get a case of beer out of it.A reminder to be careful what you wish for.
Rasmus Ristolainen
6’4” RHD having a good season and had a good season last year before his injury.
lol. Yeah man. That was a weird waiver. My Ducks have done some dumb stuff so I feel for you.Key word there was trade, not throw him away for nothing like you don't even know what the NHL is. I mean at least get a case of beer out of it.
Jets were the first team I was thinking of. If Risto is on their 3rd pair they should have a solid d for the playoffs. I wonder what they would offer for a rebuilding Flyers team.Few will agree with me but I actually think Risto on the Jets 3rd pair would actually work really well. Especially if Henoia eventually overtakes Stanley and Miller.
A Risto trade is a hard one to figure out. There have been rumors going back years of Chevy being interested in him and Chevy has been shown to be a GM that will circle back on guys he's targeted in the past. There was quite a bit of scouting happening between the Jets and Flyers last year.Jets were the first team I was thinking of.
