Now that you've realized this, the next step is realizing it was the biggest part of the play.

I'd be on board with it if it happened at, quite literally, any other juncture of the game. Im also on the fence regarding if it was a play that exemplifies some sort of team toughness, but thats another matter.

All you seem to be arguing is the timing. I have been agreeing with you there. So why do you keep posting these rants when you obviously agree with me for the most part otherwise?

Because, whether you yearn for it so badly or are just defending Kreider, you're also perpetuating a myth that this is some sort of big moment in team toughness, which is a crock.

I don't see how it's a "crock" since we haven't seen any play like this since Avery left. If Kreider can provide that minus the ********, I fail to see how it's anything but a "big moment in team toughness."

I'm not one of those, "BRING AVERY BACK LULZ" guys. You know that. Yet I think it's ridiculous to think that there hasn't been something missing from this team when we got rid of the guy. And, to a lesser extent, when we got rid of Dubinsky. Hell, even if we can get some of what we lost when Dubinsky left it will be a huge thing for this team.

Kreider brings more "circus atmosphere" than Prust - or especially Dubi?

I don't mind some of what Avery brought. I just don't like the circus act crap.

I didnt say that, at all.

But if I had to choose between Kreider turning into Avery, or the zombie he was up until about 2 weeks ago, I'd choose the Avery option.

Again kireider has more talent than avery. avery was an agitatpr that was his job. krieder has probably been one of our top players

I agree that he will eventually have to answer the bell one of these days. Mash is an exceptional fighter, maybe he can learn from him.

To extent Kreider will have to drop them, he will, but he won't do so unless required, which is smart.

Past Ranger he reminds me most of (in regards to putting up his dukes) is Walt Tkaczuk.
Very -- unbelievably -- strong. So no one will want to fight him, which is fine, want him more focused on using all that incredible talent.

2 goals 8 assists in 11 games. 3rd on the team in assists now. he really could have 4 or 5 goals though. its very exciting watching him play this year with how much better hes gotten in seemingly a few weeks.

I am referring to the general double standard when it comes to giving credit, or critizizing, our players in general.
McD offensivse drive is usually awesome, MzD attempt is awful (as an example)
