At least we battled - there was life out there.
No issues with losing this type of game - could have went either way between two evenly matched teams.
I liked the net front traffic, the hits, the tempo, and the bottom 6
I didn't like the PP - someone on staff needs to show them some PP tape from the Kings - they are slick in how they move the PP around.

Baby steps . . .

I think if the Jets would had a 5-0 lead they would have lost too just not getting the bounces.
That last goal was so unbelievable ... Morrissey throws it into the corner 2 Jets can't retrieve it than a Kings player passes to center and 2 Kings miss the puck when the Kings player finally does get the puck across the blueline the Jets D man falls down.:eek3: Even the 4th goal was a weird bounce off the boards.
I know a lot of you like these jerseys but I'm getting sick of them losing in them ... bad karma.

I know fans are disappointed but imagine how disappointed that one guy is who would have won a million if Kopitar had scored. I thought for sure he was gonna get it in when he got 2 shots on Helle in OT.
Actually that only applies if a Jet scores. If Koplitar got another one the poor Jets fan would OWE SaveOnFoods a Million dollars

Some in the trade thread were speculating if the Jets consider being a seller if they lose this game. If we are going for the 2nd wildcard spot we may as well acquire some future assets by trading some guys. Calgary is unloading guys as well so it'll be realistic to take a run at the playoffs even if you move a guy like PLD or even Dillon for a king's ransom.
I thought the Preds gave up on playoffs but they are trying to shed some cap and get some futures all while still going for the last spot in the West. Jets should trade Ehlers and some of their D by Friday.

They have Safeway in LA and they did run the same program. I think the winner tonight still gets $100k.

What's the matter with Ehlers ? making blind backward passes that get intercepted, and just not taking charge in the offensive zone, like he used too. I'd like to see the old Ehlers back, flying around and scoring some great goals. He hasn't been himself for quite awhile now ?

Don't think he's close to 100 percent after his surgery

Jets are 1-5 - 1 in their last 7 games, so the post game show says. They better get their act together, if they want a wild card spot.
