Ehlers never gets into shootouts for some reason. He's going to get traded at some point.
I think he has a bad record in shootouts and breakaways?

Either way, I would have put Morrissey out there before Wheeler.

When was the last time Ehlers got his shot through? Wheeler continues to telegraph passes and give the puck away.

Good on Stenny for scoring a couple

Some in the trade thread were speculating if the Jets consider being a seller if they lose this game. If we are going for the 2nd wildcard spot we may as well acquire some future assets by trading some guys. Calgary is unloading guys as well so it'll be realistic to take a run at the playoffs even if you move a guy like PLD or even Dillon for a king's ransom.
They're not going to be unloading players and either will Calgary, and in all honesty in the West a wildcard spot isn't much different than any other playoff position.

I would rather see Pionk than Dillon get traded

Jets didn't deserve to win that game. Pretty rough outing, again.

Natural stat trick had xG pretty much even and the jets at 57% 5v5. But I guess you can pick the numbers that fit your narrative the most..

no, you just love over using these charts and treating them as the end all be all... it's funny how many times we've been on the right side of these things during losses and they just go ignored...
You saw my post before I edited. They aren't the end all be all. Nobody says they are.

They matched my eye test though. Anyways, to each his own

BTW natural stat trick has us 5v5 adjusted we won 2.81-2.17 and all situations kings were slightly better at 3.5-3.41... so yes go cherry pick your charts when other charts say different...

Game isn't played 100% 5 on 5 though. I think if the Jets powerplay was dangerous, it wouldn't be so lopsided. Our PP is dreadful right now.

So... my charts are cherry picked, then what are yours?

The sites weigh things differently, one is not better than the other.

I went there after you posted the chart like it was the end all be all to prove that there is clearly other data that says other wise...
