As of right now, Dufour leads the QMJHL in goals. Can’t wait to see him in Bridgeport next year.
He caught my eye a few weeks ago, he's sort of a bigger and faster Pat Flatley. Looks prime 3rd line candidate hopefully. Maybe even a support top 6 player down the line like a Zach Hyman maybe. If this is the case, what a find in the 5th rd.

always nice to find these type of guys. Wonder about this kids skating. Is it up to NHL standards?

Kind of nice, we were concerned that this draft class was not looking good, and Dufour has really shot on the scene with some eye popping goals. Maybe this will be remembered as the Dufour draft for the Isles rather than the Ljungkrantz draft.

I think most of us would take a Flatley type player. Flats was great in the corners digging the puck out and had pretty good hands.

That will never be the name of this draft for the Isles.

Of course, it could have been "The Chromiak Draft".

We stake the horse heads in our front yard to keep out the Mormon's....but I might be able to spare one the next time 'round.

OK, I commiserate with your plight. Personally I go with dogs, who scare off most of the unwanted solicitors.

Nothing says run for your life, like three angry dogs barking, when some jackalope rings the doorbell.

Especially when I bellow release the hounds or pretend to have to force the door closed behind me, lol.

So let's just agree to split the difference. I said horse, you said rabbit, so we will go with goat as the compromise and still make our point. :)

Machu is really worth keeping an eye on, way too good for U20 and the Czech 2nd league based on viewings, youngest player in the draft good skater and a terrific frame with room to add muscle as he is pretty lean. May be a very interesting 7th round pick.

Machu could be a real peach of a pick.

Based purely off of stats, Malinen and Liukas look way too good for the junior league.

For sure but both have flaws that will keep them from advancing on the men's team (Liukas: skating and Malinen: size), also European teams often won't play kids over established vets.

Looks like Lennox took himself out of the game in the 1st. Favoring his right leg, hope it is just a precautionary measure.

Actually you might be on to something with the dogs, cause then you got plenty of ammo to fill the paper bags to light on fire on people's porches when they look at you funny! You've got my vote!
