Your goalie should never be carrying your team.

That was an era of Rangers hockey I never want to repeat.

Yes, you should win games further up the ice but once in a f***ing blue moon, for the love of whatever deity you believe in can you just hold the f***ing fort Igor??????????

I may be the only Miller detractor in the world, but I feel like why is K'AM your second go to dman in OT? You are paying Trouba 8M dollars. He isn't even your second option? How many times is K'AM going to get PP time and be the spot where the play dies?
It feels so forced.
I will stand by my position that Miller makes plays that get the puck away from him but put the teammate he passes to in a bad spot, and that's what happened to Chytil.

God damn life would be easier if this 4 game stand with NJ was before the deadline instead of after.
Just like everything else...

Lindgren would be the obvious choice. or with how the game transpired, maybe Smith.

He does not have the pulse of the team/game and is just flat out bad with in-game management

The Isles broke out from behind the net and just casually ended up with a 2 on 1 making zero moves. Idk who was more at fault Kreider or Strome but that was awful. Those 3 on the ice together just doesn't seem like a good idea at all.....overall awesome game from our young guys. Remember when Laf got his 1st NHL goal in OT? Wish the coach did.

A great tradition continues, bashing the goalie after an L.

Only issue I had with Igor was that long ice pass he attempted near the end of regulation. Got turned over and led to scoring chance against, wasn't worth the risk even though the pass was completed, was easy for it to get turned over with the way the receiving player was facing.

Just a reminder what Kakko can do in OT:

Kakko hasn't shown anything at this point that would show he would be a liability in 3v3. Why he doesn't get opportunities in it astounds me.

Quinn doesn’t trust him on defense despite him being one of our better forwards defensively. He’s shown this by putting other guys out for d-zone faceoffs.

Strome has been nice this season but the guy is just so lost in the d-zone. That OT was horrendous by him. Hopefully gorton can work some magic and find a way to get us legitimate center.

He's a rookie and he's a top 10 goalie in the league. I don't see the problem at all.

Goalies give up goals. We should maybe beat a team once in awhile and not need the fort held.

Went to the kids all game and they rewarded him. He finally adjusted and went with his best players. He goes back to the vets that were trash all game and loses. That pretty much is the epitome of David Quinn, a loser. No ****** chance Gorton and Davidson see this guy as the answer.

That’s not the Ranger way tho

This team has been relying on a hall of fame goalie for the last decade+ and damn it if that’s not the plan for the next decade

we're dead in the water without the kids bringing us back into the game. The Vets were terrible.

Instead of going to what got us tied and back into the game, he went back to his vets. It's infuriating.

If we lost because of the kids, making kid mistakes, I don't care. Losing, when your kids are your best players and options in the game, and they do not get a chance with open ice....

There's no excuse for it.

My guess his logic was not to deflate the kids if they gave up a game losing goal.

While it's a positive that our kids were the reason we tied it, where were our stars? Nothing from Mika/Panarin/Strome/Fox. And the slow starts are a Quinn staple. With an NHL coach we win this game.
