Just fire the ****ing coach. The entire team at most times this year looks mentally checked out. Our whole second line looks checked out & like they've tuned out the coaching staff.

If we lose the next two games scoring 1 or less, Therrien will be gone with Gallant on the market.

You think a coach will be fired while his team leads their division? I know GMs like Lou have done it in the past but MB has stuck with MT through a lot worse than that...

Would love him on to. He looks like Ovie compared to Hyman the ahl plug playing with mats and Willie

Best fit would be one of the NY area teams making a pitch for him -- Pacioretty didn't lose the ability to score 30 plus, he just seems unable to function in the Habs' environment. A trade to his home state could be the perfect antidote.

I like Bjugstad and Matheson. The first in 2018 seals it. I'd consider this if we're moving Pacioretty.

Down the center, we'd have;

Gachenyuk
Bjugstad
McCarron (soon)
Danault

Only thing, we would be rather weak on the LW. Another trade would need to get done soon after.

Patches for Brock Nelson and Anders Lee.

Habs get a 2C and a 15-20 goal LW, and Isles get a top LW that could hit 40 playing with Tavares.

If that's all it takes to get T fired, I'm all in.

I honestly only think that the only way MT goes is if Pricer says he's had enough with him. And Price is far too humble to say that.

What would Colorado give up for Pacioretty? "Leadership" shakeup?

Nothing. The team is in dead last, their only top pairing defensman is out with a broken leg, their captain had been out for weeks and we have no idea for how much longer. There is no "shakeup" to be made, the season is essentially done. The focus has to be on the future.

Colorado is not likely to be a good trading partner for Montreal if they are looking to trade Pacioretty. I seriously doubt they would trade a younger player from their core for Pacioretty, it would make little to no sense for a rebuilding team.

Panarin or Simmonds for Pacioretty straight up. Mark my words folks.

Neither the Flyers or Chicago would be interested in this, and it does nothing to help the Habs fill the 2C spot, though obviously both Panarin and Simmonds are outproducing Patches.
