Wasn't really watching it that intently, mostly for background. When I heard the phase "We're hockey players", I glanced up and that's when I saw Hartnell. He even got in a couple of lines of dialog!

No Hartnell Down sightings on film, but it only showed him dancing for a couple of seconds. Probably all they could get out of him while he was upright...

Now that we have had a bit of time to digest it, why would we settle for so little in exchange for Wiz. His play was not great of late (Kevin C. reminded me of him a bit last night) but he should have fetched more.

You think? A 2nd round pick, a pretty good center prospect are the key pieces, of course. Bourque is a bit of a flyer. The Ducks get to balance off Wiz's money and the Blue Jackets get a reclamation project. Seems reasonable.

Bourque was a salary dump. Advantage Ducks unless his career has a rebirth.
Wild Bill IS a good prospect, but he's exactly that - a prospect.
The 2nd round pick in a deep draft is good, but it is also an unknown.
It would take that draft pick being a first to say the deal was good for both sides.

A 30 day hot streak. He only has 1 goal since Jan 14. He did miss 2 weeks but he's pretty much dried up. I'm not expecting him to score like that again to be honest but maybe with Wisniewski gone he might get an opportunity to take more shots.
