Yes, I do have some of the exhibition results and goal scorers from Canada and the U.S. team's past World Championship tours, mostly from the 1930's and 1950's. The only problem is that some of these exhibition tours were rather lengthy (anywhere from 1 month to 4 months in duration involving from 20 to 70 games played). And sometimes not all the scoring details were published from the exhibition games. Plus it takes a lot of research time digging in the newspaper archives to find all of the games, so I haven't as yet begun to look back into these pre-WC tours. Hopefully in the near future I will begin working on this.
As for the 1962 Galt Terriers, since the WC was going to be played in Colorado, did not schedule any exhibition games with European opponents but instead embarked on a cross-Canada exhibition tour facing other Canadian clubs. Galt finished their 34-game Ontario Hockey Association Senior A schedule in first place with 24 wins and 10 losses, one point ahead of Windsor in the 8-team OHA Senior A league. The Terriers were led in scoring by Don Rope (19 + 25 = 44 points) and Bob McKnight (18 + 26 = 44 points). More importantly, Galt was led by their masked goaltender, Harold (Boat) Hurley. Hurley was the only goalie in the OHA Senior A to play in all 34 games, allowing 102 goals, posting 2 shutouts and a league-best 3.00 goals against average. Alex Keeling was the penalty leader for Galt, collecting 68 penalty minutes.
Galt began their '62 pre-WC tour in the Maritimes with 3 warmup outings. The first game being played February 1 in Halifax, an easy 8-1 win over the Halifax Wolverines of the Nova Scotia Senior Hockey League. Former NHL star Tod Sloan paced Galt with 1 goal and 4 assists. Also scoring for Galt: Bobby Brown (2 goals),
and single goals from Alex Keeling, Pete Kowalchuk, Joe Hogan, Jackie McLeod and Bob Mader. Halifax scored their only goal at 19:01 of the 3rd period. Galt blasted Halifax goalie Dogget with 48 shots, while "Boat" Hurley had an easy time for Galt kicking out 18 Wolves shots.
The next game was Feb. 2 in Moncton, where the Terriers nipped the Moncton Beavers of the NSSHL, 7-6, before 1,650 fans. Scoring for Galt was Ted Maki (2 goals and 1 assist), Bob Mader (1 goal and 1 assist), Pete Kowalchuk (1 goal), Bob Brown (1 goal), Tod Sloan (1 goal), Harry Neale (1 goal), Joe Hogan (2 assists), Bill Mitchell (2 assists), and Jackie McLeod (2 assists). I have the line-ups, goals and penalties for this game if you want it, Jukka.
The third match was held Saturday, Feb. 3 in Amherst, as Galt swept the tour with a 7-0 win over league-leading Amherst Ramblers of the NSSHL. The Ramblers suffered because of weak goaltending, a problem all season for the defending Maritime champs. Emery (The Cat) Cormier gave up 4 goals in the 1st period and was replaced for the 2nd and 3rd by Paul Morisette who allowed 3 Galt goals, all in the 2nd period.
Next game was Tuesday, Feb. 6 in Toronto at Varsity Arena, as Galt scored 7 unanswered goals in the last 40 minutes of play to defeat the University of Toronto Blues, 10-2. Galt scorers were Bob McKnight (2 goals), Pete Kowalchuk (2 goals), Lloyd Mercer (2 goals), Tod Sloan (1 goal, 3 assists), Jackie McLeod (1 goals), Bob Mader (1 goal), Don Rope (1 goal). Toronto goals by Bill Kennedy and Jim Murchie.

Chatham goals were from Jim Connelly (3), George Aftken (2), Ernie Dick (1), Dave Luciuk (1), and Bob Pole (1). Galt goals were scored by Tod Sloan (2), Joe Malo (1), and Pete Kowalchuk (1).
The Terriers played a couple more games in eastern Canada before departing by train for the western Canadian part of their exhibition tour. Starting Feb. 14 in Fort William, the Port Arthur Bearcats of the Thunder Bay Senior Hockey League handed Galt a 3-0 defeat. Gerry Watson, Gary Olney and Wally Maxwell scored for Port Arthur, all 3 goals scored in the 2nd period. The 2,400 fans watched Bearcat goalie Bob Kilgour block 34 Terrier shots.
On Feb. 15 in Fort Frances, Galt Terriers handed an 8-2 loss to Fort Frances Canadians of the Ontario-Minnesota Intermediate League before 850 fans. Jackie McLeod (2), Bill Wylie (2), Joe Malo (2), Joe Hogan (1), and Bobby Mader (1) were the goal scorers for Galt. Fort Frances goals by Ike Eisenzoph and Ron King, both in the 2nd period.
Feb. 17 in Warroad, Minnesota, Galt defeated Warroad Lakers of the OMIHL, 7-4.
