How did Kaliyev look, only got to watch the end of ot.
Also, what's the record now with Rempe in?

Borgen is another one.
I don't know what the f*** they were feeding him the first few games.
Since the calendar turned to '25, we're starting to see the guy who some of the nerds said could skate and move the puck.

He's clearly not in game shape yet.Nothing stood out regarding #34. Meh. Had less than 9:00 TOI.
I'm a little confused since it seems for a while they seemed to be pretty good at shutting teams down like they did last game we played. What 12 shots on goal? We weren't the only team to have that happen to us against them. But what I saw today they looked nothing like that. For f***'s sake we even dominated OT which never happens, even last year it seemed like our OT record was a bit of a fluke because we got great goaltending in OT.
dont do it bad juju - let them yap it up and take victory laps in before the season is even close to doneDeserved to win this one.
Really tempted to bump that one Luke Hughes thread that devil homer started after he had like 10 good games. He's followed them up by being ass for like a month.
He didn't show much but didn't make any egregious mistakes. How did Kaliyev look, only got to watch the end of ot.

That extended ozone shift in the 3rd had a lot to do with it.Holy f*** Miller-Borgen ATE tonight.
Vaakanainen is an NHL player which, like the 4th line, is saying a lot for a 6D in this league. All the chatter was Drury had targeted him for a long time. I wonder if they talk extension and it makes Mancini available. Schneider they clearly aren’t trading.
And not for nothing but Schneider had been much better playing with Vaakanainen. I never notice Vaak good or bad which is just about the best thing you can say about a 6D. I know if he was really playing badly because Sam would be moving up his retirement having to say his name all the time.
For the second straight game, they really seemed to have jump in the 3rd. Play was crisp, hard hat and lunchpail.
Holy f*** Miller-Borgen ATE tonight.
I dunno that I really love Vaakanainen and Borgon but yeah I guess two bottom pair guys is better than two 7th D playingVaakanainen is an NHL player which, like the 4th line, is saying a lot for a 6D in this league.
So many depth players are ass in this league. We're not the only team that's been obsessed over the years with guys that look like they're trying.
That's one very clear thing Drury is a million times better at than Gorton.
Guys like Carrick, Smith, Vaakanainen, Gustafsson, Mikkola, and Brodzinski could tie bullshit like McLeod, Haley, Lemieux, Rooney, and Hajek in knots.
Even Sammy Blais was an NHL player at the time, the trade just sucked as a whole.
I think he only got 6 or 7 shifts. He looked engaged. Hit a couple guys. He took a wild shot in the 3rd from an impossible angle that not even Bread would have attempted in practice. How did Kaliyev look, only got to watch the end of ot.

I thought I read during the summer that things would be different during the season but I don't trust my memory. Regardless Driry moved 2 guys contracts that many on the board said were unmovable so I can't complain about the timing. NHL players need to be a bit tougher than that.Absolutely not. Once he had his list on July 1st the situation was exactly the same as it was the day he was traded. In the summer, Drury seemed to back down to Trouba's agent, plus the public perception that he was doing him dirty because of his wife's job situation. Looking back, Drury shit the bed on that move...I'm sure he would tell you the same if he was ever forthcoming.
They haven’t been sunk by this stretch against good teams, which was the narrative coming in. It’s been their best 5 game stretch “process”-wise since the very beginning of the season
