Whale season's over. There's no down to be sent back to
Well he will be watching the games from the luxury box.

Powe needs to stay in lineup especially for pk and energy he brings. Most likely Kreider is sent back down. Even Torts made mention that he was basically called up just because of Boyles injury so unless he pots 2 or more goals in the next game or two I don't see how Torts will be convinced on keeping him up with the big club. Kreider isn't gonna crack top 3 line minutes (or get powerplay time) so it's probably best he be sent down.
Kreider would sit for Dorsett for sure. Also Dorsett is going to start 4th line especially coming back from an injury. With Boyle out they need Powe as 4th line C and Pker
Reaaaaaaaaaaaaly hoping both Staal and Dorsett play Saturday
I imagine Eminger sits and DZ moves to RD?
McDonaugh, Girardi
Staal, Del Zotto
Moore, Stralman ?
Eminger spare
Gilroy and Hamrlik hopefully dont have to play
Kreider should be in Pyatt's spot with Pyatt sitting for Dorsett.
Jared Staal was called up by Carolina. If Marc plays on Thursday, all four brothers could be on the ice together.
I'm excited about the possibility. What are the chances Marc will play? I have tickets for the game. Reports here in Raleigh say he may be ready. A local article says the Staal parents are in town for a family reunion. Maybe he could play for at least a shift or two so we could see all four at one time. Maybe a gentleman's agreement about contact? I'm taking my camera. Come on, Torts, a little PR never hurts.![]()

@JimCerny: that would be 3 Staal brothers playing for the Canes tomorrow, & would be most cool if 4th brother & #NYR Marc could return from eye injury
I doubt it. Eric will probably rip his helmet off and poke him in the eye.I'm more excited about the possibility that the Staal brothers feel bad about Marc and convince the rest of the team to tank on Thursday so that Marc can play in the playoffs this year.

I'm more concerned about the too many men on the ice implications. I'm going to email Kerry Fraser asking for an interpretation. In the good eye, making him legally blind. Than this poor kid will need a dog to skate with him next time he laces them up. At least he won't need the walking stick, his hockey stick should surfice. Does anyone know how long it would take to teach a lab how to skate?
Clowe is gonna be a bigger loss than many think.
Not an "irreplaceable" player but really hurts the team's depth.

He has always played tremendous in the playoffs and his whole style of play is made for the playoffs ..... I disagree with that statement considering he was playing 1st line minutes as well
