So with Rupp gone, Prust gone, Bickel and Asham always scratched from the line up.....who steps up to protect the team? I don't see Mashinter being a scrapper. Is it really time to call up McIlrath?

I'm shocked. An act against the Rangers may actually go down as punished for.

Max Pacioretty's hearing with NHL for his hit on Ryan McDonagh last night is scheduled for 4 pm today.

That will put my mind at some ease. It was hard to sleep on that. Now I just need something good from McD.

Pacioretty has a hearing today. IF he gets suspended,Shanahan will discuss the status of McDonagh. Shanaban always mentions "apparent injury" or "no apparent injury" in his video.

I seriously doubt he's getting suspended. It's a phone conversation so chances are he'll get fined. However, he's a repeat offender so, maybe...

When McDonagh was hit by Ference last season. Ference was suspended. Shanahan mentioned the player suffered "no apparent injury" on the play during the video. McDonagh didn't return to play after taking the hit.

phhhhhhew, Girardi should be back much quicker, now lets hope McD is just banged up.........I remember they didnt disclose an injury before a player had a hearing before and the Ranger was fine, may have been McD actually

Hopefully Pac gets suspended and all the Rangers are ok..........would be a big boost of the guys are not hurt.............then go out and bean the Jets

This is the problem i have with this team! I know many posters don't believe in having an enforcer, but in the regular season you need one, so liberties aren't taken against your team, especially the so called "top" players. It becomes part of a team's identity. Ask the Bruins...

Just gotta tread water and stay in race until we get Nash Mcd and Girardi back.. shortened season goal is just get in whether 1st or 8th

You look at what LA did last year and it gives you hope. I'd rather not be in 8th though. This team cam and will get in. The key though is to get through this next week and half with guys banged up.

That hit was in OT though, wasn't it? So there was hardly any time for McD to return.

I really hope this serves as a wake-up call to Torts that 6 goaltenders is not the answer. Let your Vezina winning goalie make some saves, pressure the goddamned puck and move it down the ice. So frustrating to continue to watch this, especially now with the injuries mounting.
