So with Rupp gone, Prust gone, Bickel and Asham always scratched from the line up.....who steps up to protect the team? I don't see Mashinter being a scrapper. Is it really time to call up McIlrath?
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
Max Pacioretty's hearing with NHL for his hit on Ryan McDonagh last night is scheduled for 4 pm today.
X-rays on NYR Dan Girardi (blocked shot) are negative. Good news, although some bone bruises can be as painful/debilitating as a fracture.
Pacioretty has a hearing today. IF he gets suspended,Shanahan will discuss the status of McDonagh. Shanaban always mentions "apparent injury" or "no apparent injury" in his video.

Just gotta tread water and stay in race until we get Nash Mcd and Girardi back.. shortened season goal is just get in whether 1st or 8th
When McDonagh was hit by Ference last season. Ference was suspended. Shanahan mentioned the player suffered "no apparent injury" on the play during the video. McDonagh didn't return to play after taking the hit.
That hit was in OT though, wasn't it? So there was hardly any time for McD to return.
