If we have the slot available, why wouldn’t we go for it?
Center Forward ? attacking Midfielder? unless we think we're set there.

It's probably about numbers at this point. They have 2 strikers (albeit underwhelming ones). But they barely have enough CBs. At least until Fisher comes backCenter Forward ? attacking Midfielder? unless we think we're set there.
I guess it's a no go then, unless the organization really needs the money or the kid desperately wants to leave . There's probably cheaper options if we're strictly looking for a depth CB to be safe while Fisher gets healthy. They signed him to a contract extension last week, he's a starter on that team. Who knows if they value him high enough to keep him or they want to make profit with a sale
If we pay 2M for him, that's make him a DP, right?
Cabrera should be a jobber, nothing more. There's your Balou transfer money.
This isnt a depth D move, this is a move for a starter. Looks good on paper, better than Paz imo. And apparently he's interested in coming here.
Cabrera isnt in Garde's long term plans it seems.
How do you own 80% of a player? Do we not get one of his legs or something?

That 2M isn’t his salary though. DP status goes with salary
You've never been divorced have you ?How do you own 80% of a player? Do we not get one of his legs or something?
