I remember when I was in school I didn't have money to even eat and had to skip meals while working full time and going to school full time.
"lucky sperm" is a real thing, being born and raised in "privilege" they don't understand how hard life can be for middle/lower-middle class people.
Heck I went on to do higher education, got a decent job and I still find it hard to do groceries when inflation. There are other problems that many are running into today like rent, medical bills, debt payments, childcare, etc...
Playing in NHL is a privilege not a right. 8 billion people on the planet how many get to live out their dreams and make millions?
So yea... unless someone has seriously health issue (mental or physical) or family issues I don't really feel much for "hockey players". I sympathize with their situation but I mean common.... when compared to real life scenarios for most for the people on the planet its just peanuts man.
