I'm also not sure how they could even do that unless he agreed to it, and why would he?I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

They have to see him in games for the Marlies, no? I have no appetite to see him back with the Leafs, to be honest, at all.
A solid tandem that could go south very quickly. Will be interesting to see who plays goal Sunday on a B2B vs Detroit. There is no reason to do it at all.
Hildeby is arguably a better #3 at this point, if for no other reason but financial.
Jones has taken Samsonov's job once Woll is back, it's a solid tandem. Just boring plain goaltending that usually works.

Sure but you better hope Woll does not get hurt and/or Jones does not revert to the goalie Seattle let walk for nothing.Woll was good prior to injury, Jones has been solid in relief. For what you'd need to spend to upgrade on either in net, it's not worth it.
Woll-Jones is probably it for this year.
Hope we can move Samsonov to utilize the cap elsewhere.

I would make that list even smaller. Remove Vas as he has now been very average for a couple of years. I would also remove Boston's goalies as I think on just about any other team both of them, especially Ullmark, would see a big drop in numbers.Goaltending is weird year to year, league wide save % is down this year so we're definitely doing better than most.
Even on Overdrive last week, they were talking about how you maybe have 8 go-to sure fire #1 guys in net
Now that I am thinking about it, these guys are it;
Helley
Demko
Ooettinger
Shesterkin
Sorokin
Vas
Saros
Ullmark/Swayman tandem (could be team or system based results though)
The rest are up and down year to year.

They'll give him a game and see how he does. What next?
Guess we're throwing away a couple more points for no good reason at all. They'll give him a game and see how he does.
The reason would be to see if he finds his game again, that would be a good thing.Guess we're throwing away a couple more points for no good reason at all.
