If Canada wins on Sunday, do you think Carey Price deserves the MVP?

imo, it's between Doughty, Karlsson and Price. i think Doughty is the MVP unless Price has to AGAIN be the difference in a very tight game.

No
I don't know how to pick anyone on Canada. Too well rounded.

I pick Selanne as MVP
(don't know if you can do that, pick a non-gold player)

No. Not even one of the top candidates IMO.

He's been very good, but i think its been more so the defense than him. And as one of the first posters said I don't think it would be any different with Lu in net.

I like that Canada has played such a solid, structured, well rounded game.

It says a lot when a team full of star players buy into the system. I think Babs and his staff deserve a tonne of credit if canada pulls out the gold medal win.

Coaching staff mvp.

Price hasn't been the difference in any game yet... Hab fans need to stop over hyping him, he's been good but this D is making it very easy for any goalie. Price hasn't played anywhere near being MVP for Canada and that's not his fault it's because the team in front of him is making sure he doesn't have to be a difference maker, which is a good thing.

Luongo deserves MVP for having the best GAA in the tournament. #nucksfansgraspingatstraws.

he was the difference maker in the CAN/USA game.

the D has been great, but let's not forget the number of chances the US has had because certain guys blew their coverage.

He's in a lose-lose situation unless he wins the Gold Medal.

I was thinking yesterday before the game: Price wins, it's because of the amazing team in front of him, but Price loses, the blame falls on his shoulders and he's been outdueled by Quick.

He did his job, he wasn't great but he was good. He didn't have to make that many bug saves, sorry but I can't get behind this Price for MVP cause he hasn't been close to being this teams MVP, Doughty and Weber are the standouts for this team, and I hate Doughty and would much rather get behind Price (BC boy) than Doughty. I do think if Price had to stand on his head he could for us but he just hasn't had to, this D has been unreal and deserves the credit.

So he deserves MVP from one game? I don't think Price was the difference maker in that game to be honest. He was excellent but not the difference maker. Rask has been absolutely beastly. He doesn't have the luxury of a world class defense or team. It's really not close.

haha welcome to the world of goaltending. It's always been this way and it always will be.

You're either the goat or just another member of the team, tough times between the twine.

if canada loses 1-0 in the finals hes still gonna get blamed

Price beat Rask in their game and made key saves at the beginning of the 1st, end of the third and in OT. No matter how well Rask plays, the fact still is that Price beat him and is the GMG, not bronze.

Chris Osgood could come out of retirement and win gold with that Canadian defense.
