I wish I could like thisPanarin made the mistake of thinking the refs would let him get away with one after pissbag Malkin throws his 8th temper tantrum penalty of the game

Sit on the side and expect to keep sane. Step right up and be a part of the action. Come get a piece of it before it's too late. --David Draimanbecause they're on cruise control until the Playoffs and the locker room is full of mumblers
Reavo was that emotional leader... now? who's doing it? The only way it happens is on the ice. Get involved.
If he's not then who us?Ghost an $11 million forward off any roster and that team will struggle. The question is not whether Panarin makes the Rangers better (of course he does). The question is whether Panarin is the right player to lead an NHL offense.
I would wait until thursday. we play the Caps tuesday. Guaranteed check from behind by Oshie or Ovie or WilsonLindgren hopefully back Tuesday.
I swear, every time I see the Penguins won I’m OT it’s almost always on a PP goal. Funny how that works.
That's an arbitrary standard.I mean taking retaliatory penalties
Panarin in Brunette/Quenneville system is easily an 120+pts player. If he's not then who us?
The Rangers get scoring chances an absurd rate when he's on the ice.
He has 73 points in 65 games and people think he sucks.
When players reach the point where only being one of the top players in the game sucks, that's a pretty good indication they're worth the money.
I'm almost morbidly curious to see the Rangers get rid of him and replace him with some things and stuff player that they usually like. I'm sure the reactions to scoring 1 goal a game would be level-headed.
Say it with me folks. Fox has been very pedestrian since January. Nothing to do with losing Lindgren.Combination of the ASG curse and losing Lindgren?
Fox and Lindgren display the chemistry that we would want our forwards to show. We’re 39-50-16 without Lindgren. He’s that important.

Would absolutely love this. The 4D chess move is to trade Panarin and sign Matthews the following summer. Trochek moves to wing.
I arbitrarily made a comment that he takes retaliatory penalties, because I've seen him do it before, nothing more nothing less. There isn't a need to stretch it out into a bigger context. I know you're trying to defend him right now when people are criticizing him. That's an arbitrary standard.
If he doesn't take that penalty it's 3 on 2 the other way and that would be his fault also.
100%. It was very unwise for him to go to the ASG. He should've taken the rest.Yeah he hasn’t been very Foxy for awhile. After having an excellent start. Maybe playing through somethIng?
I mean, sure, if you want to just say "he shouldn't take that penalty" and leave it there, that's a fair comment.I arbitrarily made a comment that he takes retaliatory penalties, because I've seen him do it before, nothing more nothing less. He'll be fine when the brainlet behind the bench puts him on a line that works. We're complaining about Panarin but Zibs has been making horrendous decisions and not producing nearly enough at even strength. He's our $8.5M 1C goal scorer... He's passing up point blank slot chances.... this is a massive problem.
He has a nice defensive play here and there but that doesn't make up for it. He needs to be sniping more than just on the PP.

The real issue is that the fans are so not used to having an offensive superstar on the team that when we have one who does things an offensive superstar does, like create tons of chances and also turn the puck over a lot and play spotty defense, it’s shocking. If he's not then who us?

Or, how the team would look if we could allocate that $11.6mm to find another decent PMD and a few N/S wingers with a lot of speed to complement all the slow footed playmakes in our lineup.Ghost an $11 million forward off any roster and that team will struggle.
