I kinda like kerfoot.

I don’t care about his “IQ”. I am talking hockey IQ. He does nothing well. Literally nothing. The deeper the season goes the more Kerfoot will get exposed. Dubas would’ve been the ONLY GM in the league to trade anything of value for Kerfoot.

Watching Kerfoot play is like watching a small dog trying to chase a car. He’s not built for playoff hockey or to play in the “trenches” as a center. The stiffer the competition the worse he will fade. You got a preview last night. Definition of a liability. When playoffs roll around and the matchup game intensifies, it becomes very easy for teams to have a major mismatch against Kerfoot. Dubas, who knows nothing about hockey or coaching wouldn’t understand this. Having Kadri, who can slot in anywhere in the lineup makes Babcocks life so much easier.

“The tape doesn’t lie”

Yeah, slotting Kadri into the pressbox come playoff time has really made our life a whole lot easier these past couple years.

Bizarre!

Personal vendetta, or just total ignorance?

Even his penalty last year, which turned the tide against us, was so random. Until that very last second, I was impressed with his hustle on that play. It was just so much bad stick luck.

Kerfoots back pass in the D zone led to a goal tonight. I'm glad he scored but hes been complete ass for months now. The 3.5m could have been better spent elsewhere.

He is very utilitarian. Always has been. And clearly a room fav. I don't care who scores for us, but great to get some depth scoring! And great it was him.

You are a braver man than I!
They usually lay an egg when I go with them and they blew the 3-1 series vs Montreal but this Tampa team's D can't handle our stars and Vassy is a shadow of himself. The way they lost the games in Tampa makes me think Tampa has lost it's will. We'll see Thursday night.

I don't completely dislike Kerfoot, but he seems pretty average as a player similar to Engvall where he would be noticable for a few games here and there and then not do much for a stretch of games especially offensively. Would rather spend his cap hit elsewhere and let a Leafs prospect take his place or something.

Only thing that might change my mind is if he had a monster playoffs this year. Game 4 was a good start and lets hope he can do more of that. ;)

His OT goal definitely makes up for a lot of the bad - all of it, no…

But it’s big time karma for him.
