I would like Kerfoot at 1.25-1.5m playing in the bottom six. Not at 3.5m, constantly forced into the top six. Shoving Lafferty all over the lineup would have the same outcome.

Thankfully Knies has taken his spot from now on.

Gotta say, barely notice him out there this year as a primary puck carrier. Last year in the playoffs he was always the guy zipping through center ice with the puck.

If the Leafs are trying to bring the band back together next year and he came in at $1.5 million or so I could see it happening. But would also be happy to just give all his money to ROR and find the difference.

Yeah, I think the base plan would be to have him walk. But if he's willing to sign something like for under 2 mil a year, I have no issue with it.
