The big 3-1 for me today. Here's hoping I get the greatest gift of all....

...a Gamecock victory to take us back into the CWS.

Completely missed this post somehow, but happy birthday!

I'm not sure if that really is the greatest gift of all...you know....world peace and the like.

Local sports radio just pitched a tent in their pants, they've got an entire 5 days of antagonizing programming ready to roll.

I'll have to reprogram the 99.9 preset on my radio for the week.

Cheap shots being fired already from Michael Russell and Scott Wood. How awesome is this? Bonus rivalry action in the middle of the summer! You got to love it. :yo:

Thanks guys! A shame the Gamecocks didn't pull through for me. With the Pens out and now the Gamecocks out, Playoff Beard Summer 2013 has been ceremonially shorn. And world peace would be a pretty sweet gift. I'm still trying to figure out what to ask the wife to get me for my birthday.

The only thing I wish I could find are good versions of "you're not going to Brazil" and "We are going to Brazil" from that game last night. Holy ****, there's atmosphere and then there's that which is at another level entirely. Really wish they would do more of the US games in Seattle, that was absolutely epic.

Oh Yeah? 1994.

Those are quality movies, but Aliens, Top Gun, Big Trouble in Little China, Transformers and Critters beat all those by themselves, and that's to say nothing of Platoon, Star Trek IV, Little Shop of Horrors, Maximum Overdrive, Karate Kid II, and maybe the most underrated movie ever, The Name of the Rose etc :)

In what universe does Big Trouble in Little China beat Shawshank Redemption? And not 1, not 2, but 3 - count 'em 3 Jim Carey films in a SINGLE year! And the film that caused an entire generation of middle school girls to write "Mrs. ________ Pitt" and write "A.B. + B.P. 4 ever" inside of a heart. And let's not even dwell on the epicness that is The Crow. You sir, have clearly gone insane in the Great White North and frankly, I'm not sure who you are anymore. :shakehead:laugh:

I'm talking memoreableness (if I dare call it that) and yes, in my small minded opinion, Big Trouble in Little China is a better movie than listening to Morgan Freeman narrate an episode of COPS.
