It’s a messed up situation. You feel like the killer is likely someone who was affected by health care insufficiencies and that feeling of indifference that goes along with it. Of course it may have nothing to do with it. There’s also the issue of being in todays day and age where it seems there are cameras everywhere, this guy walked up and executed someone and has gotten away with it so far. It’s in the middle of NYC and he ran into Central Park….

on the flip side he also was supposedly scheduled to testify before congress relatively soon so the chance that he got "Boeing'd" is non-zero

Well, considering apparently the words "Delay, Deny, Defend" were written on the shell casings, it's a pretty good chance that he or a loved one was a victim of UHC's decisions. And if that's the case, I don't condone the action, but I certainly understand it.

Wasn't it "Deny, Defend, Depose?" Or was that an older story that has since been corrected. Doesn't change the overall message of your post though, just wanted clarification.

Yup. Like your first post also said there’s not going to be as much empathy as you’d hope from humanity. I don’t want to see people murdered, but you understand how people lose their shit over health care in this country. I don’t think people understand until they’ve had to really deal with it, or watch loved ones go through it.

Just sayin, it's a real ballsy move for BCBS to announce yesterday that they are only going to cover anesthesia for only an arbitrary time period per surgery and you're on the hook out of pocket if any complications occur
