The major difference was that past Presidents gave lip service to other countries meeting their obligations, but everyone knew it was empty rhetoric. That assumption was no longer valid with Trump.
You may continue to believe that he was intentionally trying to weaken NATO for whatever negative motive you want to assign, but objective truth is that his term ended with NATO being much better funded and with him publicly giving credit to those countries who upped their game and said the US was committed to NATO.
On the topic of the reported plans to pull out of NATO, maybe those were legit or maybe those were floated to apply pressure...IDK. However, I believe it's fair/rational to question continued participation in a Treaty in which the vast majority of participants are not holding up their end of the bargain (one being the 4th largest economy in the world).

Of the half dozen or so UFOs I've seen, all were in the mid 80s to early 90s, and all except 1 or maybe 2 on Long Island. The most bizarre one happened to occur 1 mile away from the abandoned Camp Hero Air Force base in Montauk, which interestingly enough was the inspiration for the "Stranger Things" show.
The Fravor tic tac video was from 2004...I was wondering if 1986 was a typo...but sounds like your memory says you saw a similar object with your eyes from from the ground 2 decades prior?
On this topic, China is reporting they shot down something now...and Montana once again had air space locked down yesterday based on a radar anomaly.
On the topic of the China balloon...how about the fact that they publicaly got sassy after it was shot down. They are 100% testing our response and data gathering.

Yeah, it was an oblong shaped deal. Flash of what we used to call "dry lighting" (which seems to proceed many of these things), looked out the car window, a glowing blue oblong object appears overhead, lights up the dark neighborhood which freaked my mom who was driving, it paces the car for like 20-30 sec, then another flash of lighting and it zips off. So when I saw the Navy's "tic-tac"video I was like uhhhh...
And now over Lake Huron...
