My wife’s oldest brother unexpectedly passed away this morning. His wife was out of town and when he didn’t respond to her texts, she checked her security system’s cameras and saw him lying on their porch. He appears to have had a cardiac event and died before he hit the ground. He was only 60.
Oh man. So sorry Ben. My condolences.

Scary stuff. Condolences to you and your wife.

Get your checkups, folks. I know several of us are cardiac event years old.

Sorry for your loss. That's a horrific way to discover.

I agree with everyone to be diligent about getting regular check ups. I'm mid 30s and recently discovered I had high blood pressure after putting one off for almost 2 years. I figured even though I run regularly and try to have a healthy diet there was no way anything could be wrong with me. Like I could have had stroke or worse. Never take your health for granted that's for sure.

I already posted this elsewhere but here goes again

:sarcasm:

Just read that there's text message evidence that Murdaugh's son and wife both confronted him about his oxy use a month before the murders. And his sister in law thought it was weird when she asked him about who might have done it and he said he didn't know but ‘whoever did have thought about it for a really long time’. Hmm, like maybe a month?

I'd wager that was the real motive for the murders, not to direct attention away from his theft. But the prosecution put forth the "theft distraction" motive in order to be allowed to bring the theft evidence into the trial, otherwise it wouldn't have been allowed.

The whole story is crazy. Honestly I don't think I'd ever heard of Walterboro either before this.

My mother-in-law (who doesn't work) has been watching this Murdaugh trial since the beginning. She is/was obsessed. I'm not sure what she's gonna fill her time with now that it's over.

There will be other high profile trials soon enough.

So I'm back from Orlando.

Orlando's airport is surprisingly efficient. Maybe it's a PITA in the summer? But regardless if I can get through security and to my gate in 15 minutes and not have to deal with power tripping TSA agents, then what the f*** is Charlotte's excuse?

Also, Orlando drivers are batshit insane. Also f*** the assholes that drive the Florida Turnpike with no license plate, thanks for raising the prices you dipshits. Where's the FHP when you need them?

Oh and I saw Florida man yelling at some motorcyclists. He's real my friends.
