I agree. I hate that. One minute, everyone loves Pionk and hates DeAngelo. The next minute, it’s switched. One minute, everyone is blowing Staal, and a day later, they want him crucified. It’s like one play changes everything. Recency bias af.

i ripped into staal all last season, but idk if its sam and joe talking him up on MSG or my wishful thinking, but staal’s seemed actually decent enough this season. not even close to worth his contract, but he’s been okay...please dont hate me lol

we have the potential for 2 really good PP units next season if everything works out like it does in my imagination ( it wont unfortunately)

have kreider, kravstov, zucc, zib, buch, chytil, panarin for F’s...could add 1 more free agent or give vesey/lias/howden/strome some PP time on second unti.

My head is about to explode. Two words: recency bias. He did nothing on the 2nd goal. He did nothing on those 5v3s we had. He’s been getting almost all the power play time recently, and still barely has any points. He’s so slow. Playing with Zib and Kreider does wonders. Our PP success is due to them. Not him.

Na I don’t hate anyone. I’m not a Staal fan, but he has been better. Not a lot better, but better. He did improve his skating.
