crazy how Mika has these 3/4 point games then doesn't score for another 4/5 games

on this note, i get so nostalgic talking about former rangers... the list goes on of players i miss so dearly.

pouliot, d.moore, girardi, yandle, richards, st. louis, nash, grabner.... god we had some good talent for a lot of years, still haunts me how we didnt win in 13-14 or 14-15

14-15 was our year if not for the damn zucc injury
 
Vesey has all the hallmarks of a hockey player with no offensive talent but gets shifts because he's coachable.

I honestly find it comical, he's so bad at it.

He gets the puck and you see him look around, and you just know that he knows that everybody knows he's gonna f*** up the pass. And then, like 10% of the time he makes a good pass, 40% he makes a bad one, and the other 50% he makes a worse one than you would of thought possible.

What exactly has he accomplished? I would like to see him produce 5v5 before getting that PP1 time. 3 recent 5v3s in the past few games with him on the point (nearly the whole time), and no goals on any of them. He’s been getting almost all the power play time in the past few games, and Zucc/Zib/Kreids are doing all of the work. He did nothing on that last goal, besides make a simple pass that would eventually lead to a goal. Not even an assist.

Found myself watching the St. Louis shortside goal against Tokarski the other night; we used to be good.

I agree. I hate that. One minute, everyone loves Pionk and hates DeAngelo. The next minute, it’s switched. One minute, everyone is blowing Staal, and a day later, they want him crucified. It’s like one play changes everything. Recency bias af.

They are literally 2 for 2 with him on the PP.
