Guys just relax. We only lost tonight because Shesterkin wants to break Lundqvists Game 7 win total.
Why was Carolina able to figure out our two period suffocating defense in the first game but we haven't been able to figure out Carolina's in three games in Carolina?
Look, I called the Canes in 6 and if that's the way it goes I can totally live with it. This team VERY much over-achieved and we are missing two of our best bottom 6 players in Goodrow and Blais (two guys that would've made this series very, very different).
This team needs to grow a bit more. I would let Strome go, keep Copp, and build around that with the young guys.

I guess... but don't tell me I can't be mad at something. We definitely should’ve won game 1 and could’ve been up 3-1 but there’s no guarantee the series plays out the same way if we win game 1. We could’ve swept, we could’ve lost in 5 or we could’ve ended up in the same situation we’re in now. Can’t be mad about it now.
Panarin better have broken ribs or something substantial
The Rangers have had a good season and series is still somewhat winnable but there's no way they beat Tampa.
If that happened, the KK cesspool thread would be pretty hilarious.Shesty wants a Game 7 shutout
Kakko want's a walk off series winner.
There's really nothing better than winning in 7. I'm conditioned to expect it as the only way for a Rangers team to actually win a series
90% of this board thought we were running into a buzzsaw in Carolina. The Rangers have had a good season and series is still somewhat winnable but there's no way they beat Tampa.
The Canes are simply the faster team. The plan, the way I've seen these games, has been rope-a-dope, keep them to the outside and let them switch and cycle to their hearts content on the outside but collapse and defend in front of the net and minimize the second opportunities. At the other end of the rink, we simply do not pay the price to get to the middle of the ice and we're not fast enough to trap pucks from leaving the zone when the opposition gets possession and is looking to break out.

I for sure bring Blais and Motte back. Make a shrewd vet signing that can kill penalties and win a defensive zone faceoff and this team is so much harder to play against with everyone healthy.Great point on Blais & Goodrow. These are the games we got them for and it really sucks that neither is here.
Can’t remember the last time the Rangers won in 5. 6 or 7 always.
Last time was 2015 vs Pittsburgh.
Before that was 2008 against the Devils lol.
Everything else is 6 or 7 games with a HEAVY emphasis on 7.
