I've got an even better example from real life, although I thankfully wasn't there to hear it.
When my oldest granddaughter was 11, one night at the dinner table she asked right out of the blue: "If boys really like to have their c##ks sucked, why is c##ksucker such a dirty word?"
My middle daughter says she just nodded at her girl and said, 'Because it is. Dirty words are just like that. Everyone agrees they are dirty and should never be used in public and so we never talk that way." According to my SIL they just went on back to normal from there. According to my daughter, her husband turned bright red and just stared right ahead the whole time and never spoke,
Bet that never came up on the Linklater TV show.

Hey now dogs are the best.
A cat would have nailed that fish and carried it off to eat. But I've never convinced a dog lover that cats are best and vice versa.
