Sens have five games in hand on the team currently in the last WC playoff spot…based on Pts%….But only two on the the team in the first WC playoff spot, again, based on Pts%….. so IF they were to win all games in hand they have on the Wings, that puts them 2 pts behind them in the (pts) standings…… so it is mathematically possible for the Sens to catch up to be with striking distance…. I am not going to place a bet on that happening Though.
