I don’t either, but at some point it started feeling like he’s going to be the coach here forever, no matter what the results are. Paying fans are frustrated.

It's been 10 games. Injuries notwithstanding, we've looked unprepared and awful. Unacceptable with the quality of lineup we have now. His time is up.

As far as interim coaches go, you either punish the players by bringing in a highly structured defensive coach who will force them to play some sort of trap until they hate hockey. Or, you bring in Patrick Roy as a way to fire up the team and excite the market, because the fans are incredibly demoralized after another bad start, and he's a big name who will at least in the short term give the season a reset and get everybody excited.

I agree he needs to go but they better hire the right coach to get those players playing right. They can't make a mistake with the next coach.

Next coach has to be someone with a proven track record of winning.

DJ is lost, it's true that he doesn't seem to have solutions, even though I don't think it's right to put all the blame on the coach, at one point the players need to get their head out of their asses and start executing. But DJ has run it course with this team.
