11 _games_, perhaps. But the Kings' max POINTS total at the moment is 73+13*2 = 99 points. So, if St. Louis gains 99-77 = 22 points, they will have equaled the Kings' max. One more point to eliminate them (since the Blues haven't yet clinched the ROW tiebreaker).

The Blues won last night, increasing their projection to 93 points, upping the Kings' target to 94 points. After the Kings' victory last night, that would require a record of 9-2-1, or 8-1-3, or 7-0-5 (a percentage of .792) through their final 12 regular-season games.

Their tragic number has decreased to 21 points.
