Yes. But I’m too hungover to change the category as I have to get my laptop to do that. I’ll update it later unless another mod beats me to it.

Caufield goal scoring seasons as follows...
* 23/67
* 26/46
* 28/82
* 22/40 (so far)

103 goals in 245 NHL games so far (0.42/game). Prorates to 35 goals / 82 games. I think his career average ends up around 35/season. He's surely going to have some 40+ seasons to come but hard to imagine he does that season after season.

here is my formula

42 games left
avg 9 shifts per period * 3 periods * 42 game = 1,134 shifts left
.2 shots per shift = 1,134 * 0.2 = 227 shots left
scoring at a rate of .12 per shot = 227 * 0.12 = 27 goals left
27 goals left + 22 goals already = 49 Goals
49 goals - 6% bad games = 46 goals
46 goals - Laine's PP Spot Ice Time 5% = 43 - 44 Goals to end the year

This is a scientific fact. :teach2:

I don’t think it’s hard to imagine consistent 40 goal seasons from him. I was hoping for consistent50 goal years but that’s a really tall order.

I think he might have a few 40+ and even a 50+ mix of goal seasons but at the end of the day when his career is done, I bet you his average is around 35-40.

In his prime, I expect consistent 40 goal years. We’ll see if my expectations are too high. I still think he can generate 50 goal years. I might be overshooting on that though - no pun intended.
