Anyone else notice Caufield's current goal scoring hot streak comes with Laine out - and that Caufield had a much higher goals per game before Laine came back?

I'm not saying Laine is bad for Cole. I'm saying we have to find a way to have them both going at the same time.

5 on 5 goals this season

Cole Caufield: 16 goals
Rickard Rakell: 16 goals
Leon Draisaitl: 15 goals
Nikita Kucherov: 15 goals

PS: Caufield has 27 points during 5 on 5 (T-11TH)

Caufield has the most goal post shots as well.

But I was told last year he was broken and couldn't shoot anymore?
In a 'down' year, and it was,
Kid can still score 28 goals and 65 points..

People really forget how special this kid is sometimes because of our last 3 drafts going 1st 5th 5th and we all obsess on new toys, and understandably so,

But this toy shoots lazers baby

Some also told us he was a worse Mike Hoffman.
I was also told that he should be traded while he still has value as he doesn't bring much to the team besides his shot
forum sure is a lot quieter lately, how strange. 🤔

anyhow, very happy for Cole, he's absolutely crushing it imo. i didn't think it was possible to be this good at all-around play. :yo:
