Anyone else notice Caufield's current goal scoring hot streak comes with Laine out - and that Caufield had a much higher goals per game before Laine came back?

I'm not saying Laine is bad for Cole. I'm saying we have to find a way to have them both going at the same time.

He's been terrific this year. I love how he's constantly in motion while receiving passes. He has really found a way to create time and space for himself.

People really forget how special this kid is sometimes because of our last 3 drafts going 1st 5th 5th and we all obsess on new toys, and understandably so,

forum sure is a lot quieter lately, how strange.

anyhow, very happy for Cole, he's absolutely crushing it imo. i didn't think it was possible to be this good at all-around play.

We have both somehow. I can’t believe it. Awesome that Laine got his goal scoring touch back and some.

He's always been a great ES/5v5 scorer. When he had his 49 goal pace from the moment MSL took over until Caufield's injury (83 games), only McDavid had more ES goals.
