Former Canucks first-rounder Cody Hodgson retires to coach young Tennesseans
He was the Canucks’ first-rounder in 2008 — a strong draft class that included fellow first-rounders Steven Stamkos, Drew Doughty, Erik Karlsson, Alex Pietrangelo and Jordan Eberle.
He played 71 games for the Canucks — including a not-shabby 16 goals in 63 games, often with poor playing minutes, before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres for Zack Kassian at the trade deadline in 2012.
And on Monday, the Nashville Predators announced that Cody Hodgson was retiring to work with kids:
Don't know how this hasn't been posted yet.
