I likely won't be seeing Green Inferno in theatres as I'm not the biggest fan of straight gorefests but I'm sure I'll see it sometime down the line. I'm most excited for Crimson Peak in October and Krampus coming up in the Christmas season.

I dunno. It seems like it'll be Cannibal Holocaust all over again, which I also wasn't a fan of. I didn't dig the animal scenes in that, largely because they were actually real.

Yea I won't watch that movie because of that, from what I read nothing like that will be in Green Inferno and Eli Roth opposes animal abuse

Just watched and rewatched some movies.

Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason in Space, Jason 3, Jason 4, My Blood Valentine..........all of these were mostly funny. Nothing really scary.

I hope if someone does re-do Jason, Halloween, Pinhead and Freddy again its not like these lame re-makes. Hell bring back the England and Bradley for their roles. Do some sort of last movie with those 2 in those roles since they're both old. Would be a great way for each to go out. Then studios need to find suitable replacements for those 2 as well as 2 guys who can carry Halloween and Jason.

Hell Rob Zombies Halloween was "ok" he had the right idea just somewhere along the line he screwed the pooch.

I'm watching Green Inferno. The scary old lady with the thing in her face just came out of the tent. I paused it because I'm having a panic attack that something gross is going to happen.

SX tape I thought was ok up until the ending. I didn't really understand that one at all.

I didn't watch all of it but All Hallows Eve seemed interesting and a little creepy.

Asylum was good, I liked the story and it was kind of intense.

Infestation I thought would be completely horrible and it was actually ok. I wouldnt mind seeing a part 2.

Stake land I thought was a bit slow and the ending way too open ended so I hope they make another one but really enjoyed it.

Mirrors 2 I actually liked also. I want to find the original one and see if that is good too. I will say that the mirror thing got a little stupid just because anything can become a mirror pretty much but I did like the story.

Fear Clinic - I liked the idea of the story but was not a fan of the movie. I thought it was really slow and boring for the most part.

IDK, that stuff doesn't register as horror to me. To me it's the same as watching a doctor perform surgery. Sure, this is more barbaric, but in the end, it's just gore.

We have been doing horror movie reviews on my podcast this month, the three we've done so far are Child's Play, Donnie Darko, and The Shining. Man. The Shining is pretty damn near perfect in terms of horror.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I don't really like this stuff either. I guess this is just morbid curiosity. One of these characters is going to be killed in a really, really gross way and I think I might get sick.

Where can we check your podcast out? And I love Child's Play. I even enjoyed 2, 3 and Bride. Seed was awful. Is Curse worth checking out?

The likes to dislike ratio on that is impressive. Looks like a stinker, another jump scare in an old house movie with the new trend of a creepy doll thing.

Watching Trick 'R Treat right now.
It's pretty light on the horror, but I like it.
Almost an annual tradition for me to watch this as we get closer to Halloween

Also on iTunes at Wood and the Bone.

We do reviews/try to be funny. I think we do a decent job. Fair warning, we do a song parody in the beginning of every episode. The Shining one my voice sucks in, so just skip it instead of turning it off haha!

i haven't seen Seed either, but I haven't heard great things. We just reviewed the first one.

Monster Brawl - Another movie I thought had a good idea but the movie was horrible. The first problem is that I was unsure if it was a wrestling or a MMA movie. The monsters used a wrestling/boxing ring to fight in. I think there were 6 monsters? may have only been 4 the ones I can remember are

a witch, a mummy, female vampire, a zombie, and I think a werewolf and I have to be missing 1 oh yeah a cyclops and frankenstein which means I am missing 1 more person.

Anyway herb dean (mma ref) was the ref in the movie the first thing was he said there were no rules and the next scene was giving one of the monsters a warning for breaking a rule.

I couldn't even tell you the biggest name in the movie I would say if you are a wrestling fan it would be Jimmy Hart or Kevin Nash, Otherwise it may have been Dave Foley. Why he was even in this movie well he must have needed money.

So as I said it was a monster fighting tournament there was heavy weight and light weight. The winners of each division would fight each other at the end. Oh I also forgot to mention that before each fight there was a mortal kombat voice saying the various sayings from the game.

I really didnt watch it all the way through I think the zombie and mummy won and fought each other to the death where I do believe both died after I don't know what happened. Kevin Nash turned into a zombie and somehow became the winner.

It was just bad and I wouldn't recommend it.

I thought Don't Breathe looked pretty generic. But it has knocked it out of the park in regards to reviews. I'll definitely check it out sooner or later.

I think its an interesting concept, plus it apparently has some twists and weird stuff involved with it. I like the actor playing the blind man as well. Reviews have been really good for this.

The Reboot of a Reboot that is the next planned Friday the 13th appears unlikely anytime soon

As original FT13th writer Victor Miller and current rights holders are in a legal battle over the rights to franchise

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/friday-13th-rights-at-stake-922911

Loved parts 1-4 and 6-8 (Yes even though parts 7 and 8 were weak). Its been downhill for franchise since part 8 with only exception being the average but satisfying Freddy vs Jason.

I hated the 2009 remake
