lol.. agreed! I don't understand why the Leaf's have such a hard time against the Sens, they do play a good defensive game and don't give us many good looks, for a team so low in the rankings, this baffles me! lol
i think its mainly the "show up big brother" kinda attitude.

if we can manage to get a top 6 winger i think it forces keefe to switch things up a bit and re-invigorates the offense. chris johnson on fan 590 postgame is talking about the concern for JT and wondering why nylander and marner havent been switched.

important thing is we are winning typically even when not scoring

The 5 on 5 lines need to be tweaked, it just seemed so lifeless imo

Nylander - Matthews - Marner
Robertson - Tavares - Hyman
Mikheyev - Galchenyuk - Simmonds
Thornton - Kerfoot - Spezza

i wouldnt bet on seeing robertson this year. much more likely its a winger brought in via trade imo.

Other than some really bad misplays on the puck really good game by Campbell, he competed (especially on that one he dove out to try and stop after he misplayed the puck) & did enough to get the job done. Those are easy fixes or preventions, as a fan I've gained more confidence in him, 5-0 for us now.

Matthews & Holl with standout performances...big question though, how do you think Matthews shot looks right now, do you think his wrist is 100% yet or not quite?

Fun fact: That was Hyman's least ice time in a game since march 16th, 2019 @ Ottawa funny enough.

I agree, its unfortunate when the guy only got to play like 2 shifts in the season and performed well for the Marlies. If we're not gonna play him in the AHL why not let him play here for a game or 2.

LOL @ Dorion's reaction. It's as if he lost a Game 7 in the Cup Finals or his team just lost a crucial game. Last I checked, they got 0 shot at the playoffs.

All I can say is if the Sens sneak into that last playoff position I hope we don't finish first (gulp!)

hes been kinda up and down with the marlies, some good play and some boneheaded play lol. and hes coming off an injury i believe. i think let him stew and if we need him for injury purposes then cool. i was excited for him to be up with us this year but it might just be best to let him stay with marlies.
