Why isnt gunler on swe team?
Yeah I know, he'll be at the U18's at the end of the year. They're essentially just giving some high school guys exposure hereUSA doesn't send most of their best players to the Hlinka. Hughes wouldn't be at this tournament, whether or not he was playing at the WJSS.
Czechs would be a competetive team even if they lost to Canada. Just because there isn't hype around them doesn't mean the team isn't good.Hopefully Czechs beating Canada is a sign of them being competitive. Barinka looks like he could be a stud.
I am sure we will get a stream for all the games. A bit skeptical regarding the quality though.I hate that the tourney has been moved to North America and has left Breclav. The rename is also annoying. I agree.. have a Gretzky group and a Hlinka group. But what is really infuriating me is that last year I was able to easily stream the Czech games and now the Czechs have, supposedly, sold the rights to the tournament and I'm still not sure how I'm watching the Czech games. I have TSN and all that but I don't think they are in Red Deer. I also watch Czech streams but I'm not seeing it on CT24 or Hokejka and see no links on the page website to video. Somehow, this 'improvement' is currently making it hard for Czechs to watch their team play in their own tournament. Of course, maybe a link will popup between now and tomorrow when the puck drops against the States and I can actually watch the Czechs play.
Really impressed we beat Canada even if it is exhibition. Curious how the real games will go.. States beat Slovakia 10-4 and that is our first opponent...

I have to say Barinka looked underwhelming when I saw him last year, curious what he shows at this tournament.

I don't think TSN streams the Red Deer group.Just use a vpn and stream from TSN
ahh ok. was not aware. Not sure how to get it thenI don't think TSN streams the Red Deer group.

Was at the game last night. The Czechs looked very organized and very aware of who the players to keep tabs on. They moved their feet very well and played with regular tournament intensity. Michal Teply was particularly effective up front. Moves very well for a bigger guy.I realize that... but it’s a better sign that they win. Canada is very strong on paper. Hope to be able to watch their games.
This surprises me, Teply is someone who I would describe as a poor skater. Teply does a lot of thing well and skating was the one thing I thought keeps him from reaching that next level. When it counts I guess we'll see, but they do look very competitive.
It was as much about economy of motion in addition to thinking ahead. He wasn't beating anyone in a footrace, but he anticipated well and was very effective in diagnosing what Canada was doing, as well as understanding where his teammates were. This surprises me, Teply is someone who I would describe as a poor skater. Thank you... hokej.cz also recommended the site this morning. Bring on the states at 9pm! Hopefully stream is good... i dont mind SDHockeytv appears to have all the games for free
USA is the only country that doesn't send their top team. Finland sometimes misses a top player because of some U20 tournament. This tournament should be changed into the official WJC U 18. Then the top countries will send their real top teams. In April there could be some U16 WCH.
I do a bit to be honest, but as long as you can read the numbers and the camera angle doesn't completely blow, it's fine I suppose. I hope onhockey.tv will directly link to the streams, I don't want to sign up on the hockey.tv since it appears you need to include your phone number...Thank you... hokej.cz also recommended the site this morning. I also suggest you to go watch some U16 international games, it's not very good hockey. The kids still make a lot of mistakes, the game flow is not really smooth.

I am very curious how will Knazko look. I think Cajkovic got overrated due to the U18 WJC, Knazko intrigues me a lot though.Looking for Cajkovic and knazko to have good tournaments
