Soderstrom is really solid. I've seen him play a number of times now and while he's not particularly flashy, he almost always is making good plays in all three zones.

Need to get Cajkovic the puck more. Pleasantly surprised by sojka who has won most board battles and uses his large frame very well against small Swedes. Maybe he can teach ruzicka some lessons

I thought knazko has looked pretty terrible, he was getting beat quite often. Sojka was the best skater for us.

Maybe. I've seen a couple of rushes from him, and he's working hard defensively. Hard to tell whose been good when the play has mostly been in Slovakia's own zone.

I'm used to that, but as long as they can keep competitive by a solid D and give a chance to the expected one or two talents to do something score wise, I'm fine with that.

Decent. Sweden has been better in the 1st period, but not by much really. Pulling for you guys here, Slovak win would make the Edmonton group much more interesting.

We are overmatched that’s for sure, hopefully we get some PP chances. Cajkovic hasn’t been out there enough to notice, although he does have an assist. Chromiak hasn’t had the puck once it seems. Sojka has been our best player besides goalie

It's a tie game and they are very much in this. But the Swedish top line has been impressive and are eating them alive with scoring chances.

The Swedish goalie is a 15 year old if you guys just keep getting pucks on net (like the first goal) bounces can happen.
