Swedish 01 forward group is really terrible, nothing there intrigues me except Simon Holmström who isn't at this tournament. Reminds me of the 95 age group where Jacob De La Rose was counted on to be a scorer.

Can anyone give me the scoop on Karl Henriksson? Obviously, he's playing with two okay wingers and that helps, but he's caught my eye in some subtle ways this small sample of 2 periods too. Got some skill when Raymond/Holtz don't have the puck, speedy, pretty smart, not shy about being physical. Can't find anything about him, but I'm curious.

I looked him up earlier as well.. thought he looked good... first on the puck.. responsible. Good fit with the 2 young stars
 
Did Button suggest that Bjornfot and Broberg are the top 2 Swedes for 2019? I was under the belief that Soderstrom was currently the top Swede for 2019. Obviously, its August and a lot can change by June of next year.

Söderström is my top ranked Swede but he's not showing it this game. The other two have been better.

I tend to just block that guy out from the commentary. He's so bad.

For me, the best Swedes are Soderstrom and Holmstrom followed by Pasic, Grewe and then Bjornfot and Hoglander. Soderblom and Broberg are "prospects" as well. The rest I haven't been impressed by.

Edit: Costmar might also fit into the "prospect" section.

Oh yeah, I agree with that. Broberg has been the best. Just thought statements along those lines shouldn't be made based on 50 minutes of play. Although, Craig tends to fall in love with a prospect or two here, and keep them high all year based on that. One year it was Pohling, and last year it was Hayton.

Lately I started to dislike him as well. Can be really annoying at times.

Yeah Russia is loaded this year and Finland is very weak especially without Kakko+Honka. Europe in general it's a down year IMO except for Russia who have a lot of elite talent. Raymond+Holtz are going to be special for 2020 also
