Dach and Krebs will fight it out with him. Plus there is also Turcotte, who I think is the best non-Hughes player in the draft. It will be interesting to see how it plays out, but this draft is quite deep on potential centers. Then there is also Blake Murray and Ryan Suzuki in the OHL.
Cozens is a top 5 probably top 3 pick.
Big, strong 200 foot centre that can skate and play with that kind of skill are coveted.
He's miles better than any centres from the 2018 draft.
I've heard mixed reviews on Cozens, he's good, but I'm not ready to pencil him into the top 5. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Looking at the last 3 years of McKenzie lists, it seems about half of the 15 guys projected to go in the top 15 entering the year stay in that range (8 people stayed in that range in 2017 and 2018, and 9 stayed in 2018).Yeah it's a much better draft for forwards for Canada.
You know I'm a big WHL guy, I watched Cozens a few times last year and was so impressed.
This is a really good year for WHL guys and I really think Cozens leads the way with Byram on the backend. I like Krebs as well but I'm super high on Cozens.
And as I type Krebs scores lol
lol Hf getting all excited based on this

Check the Red Deer group stream (RUSvFIN) and tell me again how it's better than what we get when it's played in the Czech Republic/Slovakia. The stream quality itself is good, but the camera angle is bad and that net right in front of camera is annoying.
Czechs can play better, but they made 2 or 3 mistakes, US scores the goals and its over. Now I just hope that we can score at least 2 goals to make it 4:2 or something.I felt like the Czechs were keeping it close and then 3 quick goals and it is over.. not sure if the score gives a true picture of this game but States definitely deserve their 4-0 lead and, in no way, can I see the Czechs coming back and winning this.
I'll say this, it being on HockeyTV for free has made it much more accessible. I do think its ridiculous they are playing in an arena with a screen in the way. Hopefully, if this is a success, they will step it up next year and give both groups commentary.I'm getting a good chuckle out of the people that don't seem to realize there are 2 groups and 8 teams in this tournament. I keep reading replies like 'TSN feed is excellent', 'TSN is on all platforms', 'get a VPN and watch TSN'... here is the thing. TSN is covering the totally ****ty group with almost no drama. The other group is considerably stronger and is on a terrible feed... no commentators, no replays of goals and one camera angle through a screen.
