I tried making some trades last offseason and there was some difficulty league wise. have we found a way to do it?There's obviously not a lot of trade activity in this league in general, so perhaps nothing comes to fruition in the off-season either. But then again, if you're a team looking to improve your keepers, there may be some opportunity. I have 4 guys I'm keeping for sure, and then I'll only be keeping at most 4 of the following guys:
Stamkos
Connor
Guentzel
Ekblad
Morrissey
Carlson
Hyman
Zegras
Some good players there.
We won't be able to do it on the Yahoo site until after our next draft, but commish powers let you enter any keepers you want when next season starts up. So we can agree to trades amongst ourselves, and post them here so they are recorded. That's how one of my baseball keeper leagues does it, and it works out fine.I tried making some trades last offseason and there was some difficulty league wise. have we found a way to do it?
In that case, here is a list of some players I won't be keeping and are available for trade. We won't be able to do it on the Yahoo site until after our next draft, but commish powers let you enter any keepers you want when next season starts up. I am good dealing a D-man for a goalie. I would like to get a solid second guy going, goalies have been an issue for me each year.I'll be honest and I'm not trying to single anyone out here, I didn't look into making any trades before the season last year because people are thinking they can deal stuff that they weren't keeping anyways, so to me it wasn't even worth exploring.
I have Oettinger and Georgiev (I'd preferably deal Georgiev, but I'll deal either of them) and I'd deal one of them for a legit keeper defenseman if someone wants a goalie worth keeping. I'll deal a keeper forward too, but I'm not sure we're all on the same page here when I look at some of the other posts in this thread.
Looks like Winger98 and Holland's Revenge are stacked at defense (I had no idea Brandon Montour just turned in that good of a season, wow). Either of you guys want to deal a stud dman for a goalie or a forward? I don't think anyone wants to deal for someone they can just draft in the first couple rounds either, to me that's kind of a waste of time. Let's do some real trades here.
Nope. Keep all the goalies!I forget do we have a rule on the amount of keeper goalies we can have?
He's like that rapscallion Nicklas Lidstrom!I have one trade to announce. MD Spartys have traded Alexander Georgiev to Holland's Revenge for Brandon Montour. I just put it through in the system and the players are now shown on their new teams, I just waived them and added them to their new teams because I'm not sure there's any other way to do it. Like I said, I'll start up the new thread soon, I just don't have time right now. Look for it next week.
I might have to consider those players Turkleton, losing Patrice Bergeron leaves me with a keeper slot that I don't know how to fill. Can't believe dude just retired when he's still playing at such a high level.
I'll trade my 2nd for Point if you're keeping him. If he's available to draft I'll just draft himI would like to get a second 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick in exchange for a later pick (like 7th or 8th) for one of these..
Players available for a trade and their price
Brayden Point 2nd
Linus Ulmark 2nd
Dylan Cozens 2nd
Charlie McAvoy 1st
Victor Hedman 3rd
Filip Forsberg 3rd
