i had Demko as a keeper from last season, but he has been terrible in all but one or two games before i fired him into space :D

And then I crewed a rocket, launched that bitch into low earth orbit, and snatched Demko from the vacuum of space. He’s safe now, safe on a team called “Jasteroids.” Maybe not a great sign.

I have low expectations for Demko the rest of the way, but I like to have a lot of arrows in the goalie quiver. Won’t be surprised if I’m dropping him in the coming weeks lol.
 
Big time matchup between 6th and 7th place this week, @Martinez going again @Winger98 who needs a win here to keep it close in the standings. Winger falling down two games with four weeks left would be tough to come back from. Started off 5-1, now at 7-10. Big win last week over the Turkeys was huge though.

Haha, fair. Although he has the tiebreaker (divisional record), so I need to finish the season with two more wins than him the rest of the way. I need halp!

McDavid with almost 90 points his last three games. He more than makes up for the injuries on my team

I'm pretty happy our matchup last week ended up not mattering in the least, that was rough going into yesterday with a healthy lead and then losing by 0.75 points lol.
 
Would be really surprised if anyone other than Jaster or Turkey won this year, just happy to have a shot at them.

Not only do we have the playoffs this year but we're gonna have teams tanking for Connor Bedard now too I bet, lol.

You never know, my team sustained a couple significant injuries recently (Lehkonen for the year and Kaprizov for almost the year), a few of my best players (Stamkos, Connor, and Hyman) have vanished and been 3 of my worst players the past month, and I finished this week with only the 6th highest score. My team may have peaked a bit early.

i was a bit suprised when i saw the result in the morning :D

i finally decided to dump carlson and hronek. With Fowler and Ekholm playing so well, i dont need to wait for these injured guys. If filip forsberg comes back, it would sure be a nice bump to my wingers.

After finishing dead last last year I'm happy to make the playoffs. Had a couple bad run of injuries and didn't think I was going to make it 🙃

Man it looks like you had a heck of a draft. A bunch of guys that are potential keepers now are on your team that weren't before. Nicely done.

Jaster vs Sparty
Hammett vs Turkeys

Pretty much what was expected, those four finished top four in the regular season. Gonna need Bergeron to get healthy and gonna need some big games from Mr TNT to pull off the upset.

I saw Turkeys plucked Matt Duchene off waivers and dumped him already and got a chuckle out of that. I waited like all year on him to start producing because he was one of my keepers last year but he's been awful this year. Very rarely does he have a big game and it's usually just a couple points. That makes two keepers I waived this year, not great, at least my draft went kind of well so I backfilled them with much better players (Tage and a couple stud goalies).

Good luck everyone (except Jaster) :naughty:

Yeah I had Tage sit out yesterday and that's a guy I really need. Bergeron missed his last game, need him back too. Already down a fair amount, need to get some of that back tonight.

he got injured...he had two good games for me. i dropped him because it seems like hes out for the rest of the year. i had just dropped jon carlson and almost immediatley regreted it because he now produces for jaster, and i was so sure he would not come back this year :D Duchene was something like a consolation, but then he got injured :D

I was pretty surprised I was the only one who put in a claim for Carlson! That was just bad timing with your drop, I think it was literally the day after you let him go that there was an announcement he was skating and close to returning.

During his Time on IR, there were one or two news that he could return. But noone on the capitals board believed it, and since it was a time where i had 5 or 6 injuries at the same time, i dropped him. Good for you that you could get him, he is a very valuable fantasy option. But it will almost certainly come back to bite me in the ass, i could really use his value against @Hammettf2b

I had also put in a claim for Carlson, I was surprised your claim had higher priority than mine. That's how it goes sometimes though!
