I've never seen the movie so I can't speak to it but book-wise, there is actually very little horniness besides the typical "we are writing about escapades involving people of age 13-18."

Greek Gods have kids with modern day normies but, spoiler alert, there's no romance-novel heaving-bosom style sex scenes depicted between Zeus and Helen from down the street.
well shit, why bother?

Rebel Moon is like the Mike Sullivan of movies. Has a lot of solid actors directed to shit in a shit movie.

What I meant was a school of kids that God's had with humans and are being dead beat parents towards mostly.

Also Harry Potter is f***ing weird. Like my wife loves the books and liked the movies so I watched it and in one of them, Moaning Myrtle is all "ayo Harry lemme see that dick like Ceddy Ced did."

In any case - the acting in Percy Jackson is truly awful.

Yeah, dude killed people in the classroom next to my old office. We’re unharmed but I’m bracing to hear that he killed some people we know well. My former advisor had to barricade herself in her office and he fired rounds through the door at her.

Super f***ed up shit.

I’m

Yeah, we’re in the states on vacation, but I would have possibly been helping with things in the ex-department, we had talked about doing some defenses then.

Thanks for the love everyone, it’s appreciated.
Glad you're ok mate.

Beardy Z frequently whips out his big thunderbolt but unfortunately in this case it is literal.
Beardy Z turns one of his side pieces into a cow to hide her from Hera in the thirst texts of the Greek Gods.

On the topic of cows, this wanker then turns into a cow and seduces Europa.

who woulda thought Zach Snyder would make a bad movie? Guy should have been capped as a cinematographer or something I think. He makes Michael Bay look like a refined filmmaker.

Snyder has made what, 2 movies where he's been the sole bloke driving the story with "his ideas" and both were disasters. While the other movies weren't exactly top notch, Watchmen was way too early for what the movie was, it's still very divisive, 300 was fight porn with jacked blokes, the DC stuff was a mess, this idiot went to Man of Steel directly to Batman vs Superman and a Wonder Woman movie right after and then ignored a solo Batman altogether and threw them all into one massive movie where the scene of the biggest comic book event of all time happens? Jesus christ mate, that's a royal f*** up that I will never forgive him for. He's the prototype of how to f*** up a franchise. He made one of the best castings in Superman and Batman into a shit show by f***ing it all up and then the Whedon thing.

Anyways the 2 movies...

Sucker Punch - This is where we all should have taken notice at his deception with the previews, the whole time we all thought this was going to be something it never was and it was a joke of a movie.

Rebel Moon - I feel like a lot of the actors saw the casting and figured oh shit, Hopkins? I'm in! Then read the script and were like ok whatever, money is money. Like Taika admitting he only ever took on Thor for the benjamins, this is their pay day for showing up. The movie is such a disaster and I mean lets be real - Netflix let him make the entire movie and then edit it to a shorter one and leveraged his "Director's Cut" phenomena to further drive up subscriptions and views so they let him edit a PG13 one (which is like why? who the f*** cares, you think kids are not going to be able to see either version? Like Netflix has Sex/Life which from what I read about is about a thirsty woman that cheats and dongs are to be seen....yeah).

The movie is just a master class of how to f*** up a cast royally whilst building up one of the biggest hype trains of this year only to show a massive disaster. The PG13 version should still be good with his cut being great, but in this case, the PG13 one is downright awful which makes you wonder the extra hour of footage is what? Going to make this average at best? Marvel and DC have these toxic assholes, as does Star Wars that just pump these losers up and then harass blokes like James Gunn because they're not Snyder.

f*** them, their "Lord dipshit" just dropped the biggest turd on Netflix. LOL

The girlfriend and I watched Renfield last night and enjoyed it way more than we expected to. I mean, we had no expectations going into it and we at some adult-candy so I'm sure both of those things helped.

And as of like 8 minutes ago she's now my fiancé.
Congrats mate!

Also, Nic Cage is low key just making these great small movies and I am all for it.

Renfield & Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent the last 2yrs has been some of his best work since The Weather Man and Lord of War. I know he's been in other movies (animated and bit parts here and there like Snowden and Kick Ass, but as one of the main leads? Yeah...) that he has been good in some support roles and then a lot of bombs, but lately for every 3-4 wtf movies, he's dropping 1 great one.

Congrats! I'm going to go ahead and assume that some day 30 years from now you will reminisce fondly about how watching Renfield was undoubtedly the experience that made you decide to become inexorably linked. I proposed to my wife while we were watching Ghostbusters so...here we are.
