The Houston Wranglers are proud to select with the 160th pick from the Fargo Force of the USHL, Center Cole Knuble

I usually don't get too excited about overagers that still need to work on their footspeed but the son of Mike Knuble is an intriguing one. Cole had 30 goals and 36 assists for 66 points for 57 GP. He also had 6 goals in 9GP in the playoffs.

1 (6th) - Ryan Leonard, C/RW, USNDTP
1 (12th) - Oliver Moore, C, USNDTP
2 (38th) - David Edstrom, C, Frolunda (SHL)
2 (55th) - Anton Wahlberg, C, Malmo (SHL)
3 (70th) - Trey Augustine, G, USNDTP
3 (72nd) - Aram Minnetian, RD, USNDTP
4 (102nd) - Martin Misiak, C/W, Youngstown (USHL)
5 (134th) - Andrei Loshko, C/RW, Chicoutimi (QMJHL)
5 (160th) - Cole Knuble, C, Fargo (USHL)
6 (166th) -

I thought he was ineligible due to being 20 by the time the draft starts

SJS is looking to trade up, offering any two 7ths to someone looking to trade down out of the 6th. Offer good until my guy is gone.

EDIT: SJS and TOR are in trade negotiations conditional on my player being available at #185

EDIT 2: SJS and MTL have completed a trade.

Montreal Canadiens trade pick 165 for San Jose’s 196 and 206.

San Jose is on the clock. ChaoticOrange
Confirmed.

San Jose trades up and selects from the Chicoutimi Sangueens of the QMJHL, right shot, punishing, defence first defenceman Matteo Mann.

With their last pick in the 2023 HFOIL Mock Draft, the Houston Wranglers are proud to select from Djurgårdens IF in Sweden, Arvid Bergström

OIP.T1Qgqfqig-EeuHjuFAOJRwHaJQ

Bergstrom has been a bit under the radar this season. He doesn't stand out physically at 5'11", 168lbs but the smooth skating puck moving defenceman plays a smart skilled game. He can eat up a lot of minutes if needed and is really good positionally. He didn't get the opportunity with ASP, Lindstein and Wallinder had but I came away impressed in his limited role.

Below is a game you can watch with him in it.

1 (6th) - Ryan Leonard, C/RW, USNDTP
1 (12th) - Oliver Moore, C, USNDTP
2 (38th) - David Edstrom, C, Frolunda (SHL)
2 (55th) - Anton Wahlberg, C, Malmo (SHL)
3 (70th) - Trey Augustine, G, USNDTP
3 (72nd) - Aram Minnetian, RD, USNDTP
4 (102nd) - Martin Misiak, C/W, Youngstown (USHL)
5 (134th) - Andrei Loshko, C/RW, Chicoutimi (QMJHL)
5 (160th) - Cole Knuble, C, Fargo (USHL)
6 (166th) - Arvid Bergström , D, Djurgårdens (SWE)

Whattya have against Canadians? Even the CHL player you drafted isn’t Canadian…you realize teams that win the cup are predominantly made up of Canadians, right?:laugh::laugh:
