Snagged a bottle of this when it was first released and holllleeeeeeeee shit it was incredible and I immediately snagged two more. I realized last week I was down to my last one and it was unavailable. I was fortunate enough to find a little honey hole (no pun intended) and get two more. Literally some of the best bourbon I have ever had. The honey is SO pronounced but it isn't sweet. Absolutely crazy. If you are a bourbon fan I HIGHLY recommend it.

Not sure where everybody is located. But I remember somebody saying Pearl River was where they hang for happy hour.
Trillium brewery is having a tap take over at growler and Gill in Nanuet NY this Saturday. Not too far from Defiant Brewery.

Trillium is worth checking out.

What sandwich stores do you guys like in the city? I haven't made it out to Anthony and Sons yet but it looks really good. Defonte's/Pissillo/Lioni's are great. had all'antico vinaio recently and that was great.

I think you have that backwards. Lucali's might be up there with John's! (I can't form an opinion as I've never been to Lucali).

When I lived in the city, Manganaro's was the spot for sandwiches. Another NYC icon lost to family in-fighting & greed.

Both good yea. L'Industrie is up there. Juliana's is good too even though its touristy.

Never been to that store. But someone recommended this deli in NJ for Italian specialties.

Both good yea. L'Industrie is up there. Juliana's is good too even though its touristy.

L'Industrie, Juliana's & Lucali all look delicious. Not sure I'm up for waiting on line at any of them, however.

My favorite borough for food for sure. The bakeries are insane too. both the recent french places that have opened up but old school italian places like mazzola and caputos. now i want lard bread so badly.

too many places to remember. never been but i had a desert from this restaurant queens comfort which was banana pudding in between a peter pan crueller which was great.

Chocolate Sprinkle Cream
Apple Crumb
French Cruller
Red Velvet
Bostom Cream
Bavarian Cream

I'm literally cursing you right now that I'm 3 hours away from this place. This is a must hit next time I'm in BK. When I go there that Egg Sandwich would be happening even if it was 3pm.

I'm eyeing the fall collection of
Apple Cider Glazed
Maple
Maple Bar
Maple Bar with white creme.

Then I'm thinking
Red Velvet whatever
Marble Cruller
Bavarian Eclair
Chocolate Cake
Sour Cream (I love sour cream donuts!, not too many places make em)
Boston Cream
Vanilla Frosted with Sprinkles
& A plain glazed because why not!

Finally I want a chocolate chip cookie, a peanut butter cookie, & a black & white cookie. I love oatmeal cookies, but I despise raisins.

If you want a good place to get a good hearty meal, I recommend a Polish restaurant called Karczma. I get almost always get the grilled plate:

Grilled kielbasa, Polish bacon, a little salmon, Polish blood sausage.

In the mood for some good Mexican, I go to either Calexico or Vamos al Tequila.

They don't have it as often, but their Sour Cream donut is good. They also have buttermilk with blueberries, which is also heavenly.

Their eclaires have cream. I usually hate those but the cream they use also is the cream they use on the donuts, but if they have it, GET THE ONE WITH THE PUDDING INSIDE!

Compared to the rest, they only give one piece of blood sausage, so they won't have a problem substituting either more sausage or bacon.

Daily provisions has the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Just saw they have a Brooklyn location now so you could hit up Peter Pan and that as well in one shot
