I was checked and had a digital card that got me waved in, but it sounds like from that thread it depended on what time you came in (early for me so no traffic) and what security guy/usher you got.

They had 3 bars open pre game ( From left to right looking at the row)
Taj Lounge (some podcast was broadcasting live)
Redd's
Loft Venue (Not a bar)
American Whiskey (looked open..I didn't go in)

Concession lines were unreal long...got in line at the start of the 1st intermission intermission and didn't get close to getting food for the 2nd period...I left the line

Went back in line with 4mins to go in the 2nd...missed the 1st jack goal got food with about 6 mins left in the 2nd intermission

guys - bought three tix to the Kraken game tomorrow night from Stubhub. All emails say I bought three tix.

When the transfer came through from ticketmaster, I have 5 tickets.

Has anyone had a similar experience- and if so - what do I do? I feel bad selling or using the last two tix - because I don't know if some poor sap just screwed up and is missing his two seats. I also don't want them to go to waste.

anyone have any idea of what to do? It's a jungle trying to get through StubHub's 'help'.

Did an email/name come with the ticket transfer? If so you could always transfer the 2 back to that email/name that you weren't supposed to get.

I haven't had to call stubub in a long time now but I don't remember it ever being too long of a wait to call them in the past.

Thanks for answering my post - I didn't have an email, but I called Stubhub support, and they called the folks who transfered the tix, and gave me their email so I just transfered the two tix back. I think I'm all good now.

The 200s look like they are gonna be a ghost town tomorrow, ridiculous they are charging $50+ plus fees for some of the highest seats in the place.

You know they are desperate when my mom gets an email out of nowhere for 4 free tickets to either tonight or a game next week. They must have her email address on file from many many years ago and are spamming everyone.

I bought 3 tickets (sec 227 row 2) for the game on oct 26 because we thought we are able to travel from The Netherlands to NYC. We have te reschedule our trip to february. Someone interested in these tickets? I can transfer them by Ticketmaster.

Isles fan here. I have a non hockey event on 10/30, in the evening. Is there parking at the facility?

Minimum 1 hour wait nowadays unless you call right at 8am when they open. And they refuse to help you if the event in question is not occuring within 24 hours.

They're understaffed on the customer service team right now since they let go most of them during the pandemic.

Got this email yesterday, would love to know what the point of this is considering I've heard many people not even be asked for proof and that you can just walk in with your mask on and then just take it off before you even get on the escalator. I'm not currently going to games but I wouldn't even waste my time showing my vaccine proof when I can just wear a mask for two seconds going through security.

"Vaccination Pass Pick Up

Members can pick up a Vaccination Pass beginning at the Devils home game on October 23, 2021 at the designated table at the top of the Lafayette Street entrance. Show proof of full vaccination and receive a Vaccination Pass which can be shown at future Devils games upon entry to speed up the entry process and allow you to leave your vaccination card at home."

Welcome to NJ! From my post on the previous page:

  • Taj Lounge 973 - https://www.tajloungenj.com/ - it's where the old Brick City Bar & Grill used to be. More recently, this space was PJ Ryan's.
  • Three Levels Lounge - no website - I forget what this place used to be called but it's like a block south of the arena on Mulberry St.
  • Novelty Burger - noveltyburger.com - this one has been around for a while on Market Street
  • Bello's Pub & Grill - no website - located opposite side of the train station from the arena. Probably one of my favorite pre-game spots, but can get crowded.

If you’re really into craft beer, Bello’s is probably the best. They have a ton of craft bottles available.

Redd’s Biergarten is also right next to the arena. You can get absolutely hammered drinking a liter of beer there, but it does get very crowded with everyone else trying to do the same.

If you have time to bar crawl, McGovern’s is probably the most iconic/historic bar in Newark but it’s a bit of a walk away from the arena (though a very safe area being near businesses and the colleges).

There are also 2 bars within the arena that are open before the game. One is in the restaurant, and the other is located above section 1. There’s a staircase to get there from the lower concourse.

Enjoy!

Got an email today with a nice amount for a food and beverage card for keeping the money on the account. Nice deal by the team on that one.

I was tempted to ask if they still restrict you from using the 'beverage' part on anything alcoholic. I don't really drink much at games, but might get a blue moon now and again so I was just curious if anyone else tried to use their f/b card on alcohol.

I used it on beer tonight. Didn’t seem to be any limitations.

Ugh that sucks, I knew he was sick and in the hospital but didn't know the severity of it. I'd love to see the team help his family out with medical expenses and funeral arrangements. Don't need them to announce it publicly or anything but it would be great of the ownership and front office to cover it. They treated him like a mascot for so many years it really should be something they take care of for him/his family.
