Not anticipating it. Not sure how it works with Ticketmaster for a game that does not happen. Do not want to assume I will get a refund. I could see them doing a credit or some such bologna. Devils are a wagon.

If you buy through Ticketmaster you absolutely get a refund if the game 6 isn't played.

Damn, I really thought that ticket prices would come way down, but it's $180 before fees for the absolute worst seats in the house on Ticketmaster. At that rate, I should've just gotten tickets to the first round, but I was hoping to take my kids as well.

Will see if the ticket prices drop significantly, but otherwise will have to sit this one out as well.

Tickets for tonight's game in Raleigh start at $65 before fees on TM.

Give it a few days. Today at 11 is the general on-sale. Have to see if tickets move at the prices they are charging. Sunday may not come down a ton but Tuesday might.

I'm considering myself lucky, found a pair for Tuesday for $300 in the 100s defend twice side lol.

I think they will drop too. It's a shame the ticket prices aren't lower, guess our owners need to pay for their newest sports team.

Perhaps predictably, the Devils sales office is having a good season. From ESPN:

New Jersey set revenue records in ticketing, sponsorship, groups, entertainment and food and beverage. The Devils have a 99% retention rate on season tickets and have already sold 1,500-plus season tickets for next year, which is more than they sold all of last season. For context, 1,500 new season tickets would have been good for the seventh most in the NHL last season.

I'd love to see more full season ticket holders or partial plan holders around me cause I'd much rather be around the same group of people every game but so far I haven't seen anyone new. Maybe next season.

Also shocked we don't have a jersey ad yet. Would love to see them not add one next season but feels inevitable.

f***ing $CAD... driving in and out including the ticket + fuel will get me at around $500...

Never attended a playoff game... I'll wait and see if the prices drop.

I believe prices have already started dropping or Tuesday's game. Cheapest TM ticket is now $159 pre-fees, though that goes up to $195+ per ticket post-fees (at least for 3 tickets) which is just f'n ridiculous. Fairly sure those tickets were going for $180 just yesterday, but not 100% certain.

Looks like for Tuesday they already lowered the price. Now the cheapest is $159 plus fees for defend twice 100 level. Fees are brutal though.

It really is such a disgraceful thing that they're doing. Release a few tickets at ridiculous prices and try to sell as many as they can and make it look like there aren't many available. Once they see they aren't selling that many, slowly drop the price and trickle more seats out even though they have thousands in inventory. As a partial plan holder that's already furious with how they're handling this, I can't imagine my rage if I was foolish enough to pay full price when I had my "exclusive presale" the other day and paid $100 more for a ticket than what the face value is right now.

I might be down, but I wouldn't be able to commit to Game 3 until Saturday.

Nephew turns 2 this weekend and that would take priority if my sister decides to do his bday Sunday.
I would consider disowning my sister if she held that against me. I also do a lot for my niece and nephew.

Birthday parties before they're at least 5 aren't for the kids, they're for annoying aduĺts.

Just sayin.

My family (and friends. You're an even bigger weirdo if you give a shit about your birthday after 25) also know better when it comes to the Devils and requesting me to do anything. Funerals and weddings being the exception.

Just sayin.

Well, we all wanted billionaire owners who were willing to pay whatever it took to get us here.

JVB gave it his best shot and pulled off an impressive feat getting us to Newark, but at the end of the day butts weren't in the seats.

It sucks for a lot of people, but at the end of the day it's no different and actually cheaper than just about every other team in the area.

Perspective, not a justification.

Same here, literally everyone I know wouldn't even be offended if I missed out on whatever event because they know I'd be at the playoff game, that goes for weddings and funerals too for me though lol hell some of my friends have gotten married and divorced since the Devils last won a playoff series in 2012 so those aren't even a good excuse enough for me to miss playoff games lol

Someone would have to literally be on their death bed, that's about it.

I'm skipping a wake on Sunday. He'll understand because he's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. But I'll bet a few there will be asking questions as to why.

Granted, I'll be at the funeral on Tuesday as it's in the morning obviously, but it would make me very uncomfortable if I had to make a decision.

Tickets for game 3 actually increased today back to $200 (before fees) on TM for the cheapest ticket.

Pretty much the only thing that couldn't happen before Game 3 to ensure an easy sellout did (i.e. two blowout losses). You could argue that selling some tickets at higher value is still better for the bottom line even if you have to discount later, but then you also piss off the people buying at the higher value, along with all the partial plan holders you already pissed on thinking you could sell every ticket at MSG prices.
